Chapter 2: The Drive

*time jump*
It was the day my car was loaded and so was the little moving truck. You weren't upset as you thought you would be, but yet again you didn't have really any friends there would be people you chatted with in class and eat with at lunch but there was anyone who would really miss you so it really wasn't a big deal. Your mom left yesterday so hopefully they can can somewhat set up your room and that you wouldn't have to move all your furniture into the house. A little before 9 am you decide to head to a coffee shop (starbucks or rosters or whatever you like) and after you get your coffee it was time for a long drive almost 3 days haha so much fun..

*10 hours later*
it was about 7 pm and another coffee break, trying to stay on the road as much as possible but your mom did give you 100 bucks for food or a hotel and you of course had your own money but didn't send it often and didn't really check it you would just drop of your check from your job at hot topic (it will make since later) anyway you talked to your boss and she got you transferred so you would still have a job. Anyways you were off again listening to your music.

*12 hours later*
It  was about 7 am now and you got a little rest maybe slept 2 or so hours in an abandon in the middle of nowhere. You stopped to get food and ate and was off again. You were getting tired and wanted a shower so you decided you would get a hotel later on

*16 hours later*
It was around 11pm, you decide in a couple hours yoh would states to look for a hotel.

*3 hours later*
It was 2 am and you found a small hotel that didn't have outrageous prices there was an old lady running the front office and decided to let you stay for free since she could tell the you have been driving for a while. She refuse to let you pay and since you were under 18. Before going to get you wrote the old lady a note and suck that and $70 dollars into an envelope (it was in the room ig idk) and then went to bed.

*5 hours later*
it was around 7 AM when you decided to get in the shower and change into some comfy clothes a vintage gray Nike sweat shirt and Nike spandex even though you were self-confident it was the only clean shirt you had and you figured since you would be in your car no one would really see them so you didn't care. You pack up all your stuff and put it in your car can you walk to the Office and you notice the old lady working on something with her back turned to you grabbed A pen writing the room number you're in and placing it on the counter with the key you called the old lady's attention telling her that you left the key on the counter and you think her for letting you stay and before she could see the envelope with the money in it you were already in your car.

*16 hours later*
around 11 pm you notice that your tank was almost out of gas. You notice a gas station with one car out front and another on the side. you pull in parking at the gas pumps. you were feeling a bit hungry so you were debating on whether going inside and getting snacks and paying for your gas or just paying it at the pump you lay your head on your steering wheel thinking moments later you hear a soft knock at your window. You jump on expecting anyone to knock on your window.As you look out you see a fairly tall man with dark black hair with blue tips he looked familiar slightly but you can quite place your finger on it you roll down your window quietly saying hello afraid your voice would crack you don't know why you were afraid maybe because he was attractive or you were in a gas station parking lot someone was knocking on your window or maybe both. He quickly replied with 'hey you ok your just siting here?' How do you look around you notice that the previous car was gone in and its place was a slightly beat up dirty jeep you look back at the man and said 'yeah just debating on whether to go inside and get snacks.' his voice was so rough but so soft as he replied saying 'You look tired have you been driving for a awhile?' your voice is much quieter but soft replied 'Yeah I'm just moving back to my childhood it's ________' (I forgot where they live in the show and when I look it up it just says a small suburban outside of New York)
his eyes seem to light up as he said ' hey I live there till.' There was 3 seconds bit of awkward silence before you I asked him if he could step out of the way so you could go inside the store. he looked a bit flustered and said sorry and started walking into the store You quickly follow him going into the store and grabbing two or three snacks and walking up to the counter do you notice that the man was walking around the store and picked up a bottle of Jack Daniels although he looks kind of young you don't mind it although you haven't drank much you have drank a little but you've never tried what he has. As you walk up to the register there was an old kind of creepy man waiting watching you the whole time you didn't think anything of it since you and The mystery man were the only people in the store he rang up your items while giving you creepy compliments telling you how pretty your skin was and how he would love to play with your hair even after you asked him to stop and told him that all you needed was $20 on the pump He still made uncomfortable comments and as he reached out to touch your hair the mystery man grabbed his arm telling the creepy guy 'Hey she said stop so just put the 20 on the damn pump you fucking creepy!' you felt kind of glad that he was there even though he gives you this scary vibes you felt safe. you know that's how differently he was talking to you I needed him to you he was so much softer and kinder even though he doesn't look like the type of person to be kind to anyone like you. anyways once you left the store you saw that you just walked out of the store following you you felt a little nervous you don't know why just a second ago you felt safe with him Maybe it was because of the creepy guy but anyways once he finally caught up here at your car he asked 'Hey are you ok?' and of course you were shocked because why why would he care about anyone like you you're short you're not pretty but you quickly replied with ' yea just a little crept out.' He offered his number which you excepted and you handed him your phone and he add himself to your contacts you said goodbye as he started to walk off his jeep. do you notice that he said his contact name to 🔪🦝 a little confused you just giggled and texted him hi you quickly put your phone back in the car and finish up pumping your gas and head off once you leave the parking lot you hear his jeep Turn on quickly remembering what just happened you grabbed your phone and looked and saw that he left you on open ouch you quietly whispered. do you notice that his jeep starts to fall you when you realize he says he lives in the same town as so it wasn't that weird. you wrote down your windows a little and started to play Santeria You turn up the music and started singing along and how you heard your phone buzz you quickly grabbed it unlocking it and saying you have a message from 🔪🦝

🔪🦝: Hey princess wanna keep it down i can hear you
Me: oh my i'm sorry i didn't know i was being that loud.

you look up noticing that his jeep was right behind your car. he threw your phone in the passenger seat after looking at his jeep and drove the rest of the way to your childhood home which wasn't that far.
