Of Love and Curses: A Spifelk Story (Fantasy/Medieval AU)

[MAJOR UPDATES] Revisons, Sequel Book, and Writing Contest?

Welcome Back, readers! Were you expecting this chapter? I sure wasn't! But I have decided to do a few major things.
1. Rewrite the story- I won't make too big of changes. I just want to make some revisions and add a few extra things to this. It's nothing too important, so you could easily get away with not rereading, but I want any new readers to be able to see it in it's revised state.
2. A Sequel is Coming!
At the current voting rate, it seems that I am going to be making a sequel to Of Love and Curses, as the one voter decided. If you wanted something different, you should have voted (I mean, there's 2 days left if you want to vote but I think it's sealed in).
3. I am hosting a Writing Contest!
If you go back a few chapters, you will be able to read Robin's brief summary of what happened to him. The contest will be to write a story (long or short) as to what exactly happened. Provide details of his deal with Ivyne, travelling across the lands (perhaps provide an explanation as to why?), being betrayed, and trying to return home to his life before and being overwhelmed by the sight he was given. The story that I like best will be selected to become canon in the series. That's right, CANON. You may ask "okay, but why?" The answer is that I want to engage my readers (and apparently voting on what happens next is too much to ask for) to be creative. I selected the copyright that I did for a reason. I wanted the world I'd created to be expanded upon. So write stories with the tag #StoryOfRobin to enter. As for deadlines, submissions are allowed as early as Jan 1st, 2021, and as late as December 31st, 2021. Is that a long time? Yes. But look at how many votes I got in the span of over a month. I'm expecting about 12 submissions.

So, I guess I'll see you all very soon, and thank you ItzYaBoiKyeD3V10US for actually voting last chapter. It's beginning to look a lot like your sequel book is coming.

UPDATE

The Sequel book has been started! It's called "Nothing is Simple Anymore." The description (subject to change) is:

"Listen to me: nothing is simple anymore. Everything that could be wrong is already wrong. But we have to keep going. We have to keep going forward, even in a world so backwards as our own."

Once upon a time, everything worked. But when the Prince of Siodt was thrown into a commoner's life, the kingdom collapsed. You know your world is backwards when family hunts you, neighbors hate you, and villains are your only allies.

When your world is so utterly backwards, you know nothing is simple anymore.
