There are many reasons a person enjoys reading. Mine is escaping reality to be someone else and have an adventure in a span of few hours. (What's yours?)

But not all books can do that to the extent It Happened One Night can do.

This book is unique with a slight touch romance, a totally unexpected plotline and extremely funny author notes at the end of each chapter. It left me unable to take a break until I was done with that last chapter.

While the story is a slow burn, I still felt like I was in a hurricane simply because of the unique situation of the characters. 

I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole book (I was sweating bullets). 

Tensions were running high but the sexy af leads of the book kept me grounded with their humour and badass-ery.

Safe to say, this book was an exhilarating read.
