Hello, Ines

I'm going to be honest, I forgot that I promised to write to you over summer. I only remembered when Mum asked how you were, and that I hadn't mentioned you in a couple of weeks....forgot how bloody nosey she is!

I'd ask how you've been, but you'll tell me all about it on the train ride, I know you will. Although, there is also a very high chance you'll get this today (if I can be bothered to finish it...), and if you do, you will most likely reply straight away.

You love writing your little letters. You love writing in general, I've noticed. Yes, I have seen the way you jot down your notes in Potions. You seem so...enthusiastic and passionate to pick up the quill! More so than I am, anyway. I'm definitely not going to grow up to pursue a career in something academic. Not for me.

Who knows where I'm going to end up...I hope I make lots of money so I can give some back to Mum and Dad, that would be cool I think. Anyway, I hope you've had a good summer. I miss you like crazy, can't wait to see you again so I can tease you about your height. I love making you frustrated.

How does one end a letter? I think this is the first time I've sent one to someone other than my family (yes, you're welcome, the things I do for you!!).

Goodbye for now,

FW.
