Hey Ines!

Firstly, Merry Christmas! Well, technically right now it's Christmas Eve, but I want this to get to you on Christmas day, and Errol is a little unreliable right now.

I'm going to tell you what I got for everyone, it's not much because I couldn't afford it, but I think it'll do the job (I hope so anyway).

For Mum I got her this necklace with the letter F on the bottom of it, don't ask me where from but I think she'll like it. I hope so anyway.

I asked for Harry's help for Dad's present. It's a mobile phone - I think that's what Harry told me. It's actually really interesting, all the buttons you press do different things, but way too complicated for me. I don't get why they don't just use owls like us. It's so much easier.

Mum and Dad are buying Ginny a cat, so I got her a collar for it. I feel really bad about it because it's just a collar, but I kinda spent too much on Mum, so it'll have to do, she's normally really appreciative so I'm just hoping she understands.

I got Ron a scarf and a hat, to wear to Quidditch games because he looks ridiculous in the ones Mum knitted for him...I like seeing him embarrassed but he was literally getting bullied by people in his year, so I had to step in.

Charlie's still in Romania and told us not to worry about Christmas presents, so I just sent him a card with one of mine and George's inventions inside.

I got Bill some new shoes, because let's be honest...he needed them. His old ones were so tattered, I swear he never buys anything for himself.

And then for George I got him a waistcoat. I know the Yule Ball has already been - I hope you enjoyed your time with Scott, by the way, but just in case we have anymore surprise formal events, he at least has something to wear.

I also bought something for you, you know, being your best friend and all. It's inside the envelope, I hope you like it. Sorry it's not much, but I thought a brooch would go nicely with your robes...it's of a badger, cause you know, Hufflepuff and all that.

Anyway! I'll stop drabbling on. You're probably getting tired of me already! I'll see you in the new year.

From,

Fred Weasley.
