Killer countdown

The escape

Micheal tried catching his breath. He finally reached the exit of Parkure Prison. As he reached the outside world, a feeling of relieve came upon him. He suddenly felt soo happy. He would be able to hug his child and wife at last. Parkure prison allowed visitors, but only behind bars which means you weren't able to touch the other person on the other side, all you could do is see them. After reassuring himself the coast was clear, he reached home. Walking nervously to the doorstep, he knocked on the door.

-"Mommy, mommy, it must be daddy!" Said lincoln excitedly.

Sarah oppened the door and the prisoner went in. Micheal felt soo comfortable. They ate dinner, talked and watched tv. He was very happy, happier than ever. It was getting late, and lincoln had to go to bed. His father tucked him in cozily, read him a bedtime story and kissed his forehead. As he was walking tiwards the bedroom door, lincoln stopped him.

-"Daddy, who was that man behind you"? Asked the child.
-What man, son?
-When you first knocked on the door to come in, there was a big scary man behind our tree. Replied lincoln cluelessly.

A huge overload of panic struck Micheal. Could it be one of the inmates after him? He went downstairs, and decided to check it out. He couldn't possibly put his loved ones in danger.

He went outside and searched the place. Nobody.. After a 20 Minute investigation, Sarah called Micheal back in, he assured her he'd come inside in approximately 5 minutes. A couple if minutes later, as Micheal was heading to the door. Someone appeared in front of him. As his eyes fluttered and his hands began to shake, he couldn't speak. He didn't believe what he say infront of him.

-"Father"....
-How are you son repplied the man

They both went in for a cup of coffee. Wen Micheal was 10, him and his family got in a car accident. The car included him, his mom, dad, brother Eljay and his sister Veronica. After the terrible trajedy, none of his sibblings made it, his mom was in the emergency room and his dad was found dead as well. After his mom's comma, she finally oppened her eyes, but not for long. She oppened them, looked at Micheal and told him something very strange:

-The box, you must find it, son. You must get the box before anyone else gets to it. The key is where we took you on your 5th birthday. Said his mother

-My 5th birthday? But i don't remember! Mom, remind me.. Where did my 5th birthday take place?

-Beeeeeeeeeeepppp.... Struck the hospital machine. She couldn't make it. And micheal didn't get any answers to his questions. He was clueless towards the situation. For years and years now, he has been searching for that box, and going through old photos to find a picture of his 5th birthday so he can know the location. But he had no luck.

His father entered the house. He explained to Micheal how he did survive the accident, they just didn't tell Micheal. After transferring him to another hospital, he survived but told him that Micheal was dead. Micheal was very confused. But the past it the past, as long as we're here together now. Micheal asked his father about the box his mother told him about. His father looked at him and said:

-And that's why im here. I needed that box. Said the father

Micheal responded by telling him they will talk about the situation and the search later, but for now he just wanted to simply spend time with his wife. Sarah offered her father in law a room to sleep in, he went upstairs and went straight to bed. At last, Sarah and Micheal were alone. They cuddled and watched movies they both used to love while eating hot buttery popcorn. They fell asleep on the couch.
