Today was Saturday and like the usual eighth grader me I decided to take a jog around the neighborhood. I need to keep my mind off things that were happening at school, they made me freak out just thinking about it. It's strange, all the sudden people start getting murdered or like two days ago three people started missing. Why? I don't get it. Does some random ass killer live in the city and plans on killing everyone? I know it's not right to run by myself during this time, I was surprised that my parents even let me go. I guess they knew I would be ok.

It was chilly and cold in the morning since it was February. It suddenly has stopped snowing over the few days and the sun finally came out of it's blanket. Strange what global warming can do. I kept running and found myself in another neighborhood where the school was. We lived more up the mountain, but still in the city. I was running toward the school. I felt a deep dark feeling inside me but I kept running. I ran passed the school and to the river near. Where I found Charlie's nike shoe. I slowed down and took a moment and looked around. Nothing to be found where I was standing. I walked deeper into where the river ran to. Trees and more trees started getting closer and soon to be into the woods.

It was dark, gloomy, a bit foggy, and scary. The trees stood together one by one looking like snakes have froze into place. I looked up at the sky and it looked like the fog has made a dome covering the woods. I kept walking and I heard a rustling sound, I turned around as fast as I could. Nothing. I heard it again and spun back around, I jumped holding my hand over my chest. It was a squirrel. Several, actually. I sighed in relief. I looked at the ground and I saw a foot print. It must of been one of the police or FBI but they looked pretty small to me. I followed them off track. They suddenly stopped like they disappeared in mid air. I heard a bird noise sounding like a crow. I looked up and fell down on my butt and screamed. Charlie, John, and Abigail all hung by the top of three separate trees. Forming a circle. They all looked down to the ground. I was suddenly working my way back still on the ground. I got up and started running, not stopping at any way. No matter if my throat burns or my legs and chest were hurting, I didn't stop. I made it passed the school and to my neighborhood. I ran into the house and my parents asked me how my run was. Certainly not good. I ran to the home phone called 911. "This is 911 what is your emergency?" The woman said into the phone. I gasped for air. The woman told me to calm down. "I found the missing students from my school in the woods all hanging in a tree!"

"Okay miss what school?" I told her the school and she sent the police right away with the FBI. "Okay if there is anything else call this number, okay?"

"Okay" we both hung up. I dropped the phone and my parents were standing there. I looked at them and ran to them crying. I was scarred for life in that moment. They held on to me like a stuffed teddy bear.

Later that day I was on the news. Most of my friends were freaking out but they felt bad for what I have found. They asked what I was doing behind the school, I told them I was taking a jog and I came across going into the woods and found them.

Later that night I couldn't sleep the image of all of them came into my head. I felt bad for not liking them and judging them. They were probably good people. I was mostly surprised that the FBI didn't find them earlier.

Now we know they are dead.
