"C'mon Hannah we have to do our chores" I yelled to my daughter while walking out the door. I heard a faint yell telling me she would be down. I walked down the dirt trail leading to the barn. Inside I could hear the cows and horses waiting for me. As I opened the door I screamed as crows came flying out. I held my head down and blocked the crows from me. All of them were gone after, I slowly walked in making sure there weren't any more. I looked over at one of my horses and their eye was scratched, I hurriedly and ran over checking him. He seemed to be frightened. I checked every other animal in the barn and most had tiny scratches on them but was in good condition. Hannah walked in. "What happened? I heard you scream and I ran down and there were a bunch of crows" she asked me curiously. I told her there were a bunch of crows in the barn, but it was nothing. We went on with our usual chores and my husband went working in the town.

I made bread, butter, and smashed potatoes with corn for dinner. My daughter and husband loved what I made for dinner and I appreciate it a lot. It was fairly cold at night and we always have a fire going in the house to warm it up. There were candles everywhere so we could see in the dark. Every night I took Hannah to bed and I told her lovely stories. "Goodnight Hannah I love you" I told her, I kissed her on her head. "I love you too mom" she replied. I walked out of the room into me and Dan's room. He was already in the bed, waiting for me. I climbed in and we both hugged eachother like we were glued together. "Hannah told me about the barn today. What happened?"
"I just heard the horses and the cows in thw barn and I opened the door and a bunch of crows came out, one of the horses eyes were scratched" Dan sighed. He told me he would figure out how they all got into there next morning.
"I love you" Dan told me.
"I love you too" I replied. We both fell asleep.

I could hear the horses outside of the house and I suddenly realized Dan was gone. I shot up and put on my dress and went outside. Those stupid crows were sitting on top of our house. I ran to the barn and Dan was trying to calm the horses down.

Inside the house the fire was going and Hannah was still in the house. Sunddenly something caught fire and started growing.

Dan and I finally calmed the horse down but we heard a faint scream from the house, we turned around the house caught fire. I started to scream Hannah's name. Dan ran into the house to get her. I waited and waited, wanting to go in.

Dan came running out with my daughter in his arms. She burned to death. I stared at then and I fell to the ground crying. I looked up and Dan was crying too. He keeled down to the grown and I looked at her I couldn't see on feature on her. I sat there crying not wanting to do anything.

My daughter died on February 3, 1705 from a fire.
