Into the desert

Once they step on the other side, they meet with Kungfu Dugongs. "Cute!" Luffilia said after they beat up Usopp their Alpha came charging after her only to be picked up mid attack. "Aw, who's a fighting machine." Luffilia said, hugging the creature. "Luffilia, they don't like that...... okay, that's strang." Vivi said, seeing the rest hugging Luffilia back. "She has a way with animals that I never saw anyone do." Usopp said the Chopper looked shocked. "Oh no. They want to follow her." Chopper said, looking stund as they moved instinct with Luffilia.

Luffilia looked down at them, trying to figure out what to do. "Oh, I know. Chopper, can you tell them in exchange for food they don't follow us." Luffilia said as everyone argued. "Luffilia, we can't just waste supplies on them." Vivi said, making Luffilia look at her confused. "Wasted, but I was just going to give them some fish." Luffilia said, smiling as she summoned a couple of Piscis Austrinus. "There, did that satisfy them?" Luffilia asked Chopper, to which he nodded. After seeing what Vivi was talking about the state of her country and how Crocodile was behind it all did they left to Yoba.

They were about to move when Luffilia spoke up. "W-wait." Luffilia said, blushing when everyone looked at her. "Give me a second." Luffilia said, smiling as she uttered. "Constellation Libra Aquarius." Luffilia said as dark sparkling water crawled up everyone's skin, cooling them from the desert sun. "Are you sure?" Vivi said, looking at Luffilia as she hides behind Zoro nodding. "Vivi, it's ok. I mean, look at Chopper. He's a reindeer, so these conditions are not suited for him." Nami, try to reason loving the cool feeling on her skin.

In addition to the water barrier, she had Lacerta carrying their supplies. "Should we allow her to do this?" Vivi complained, watching the big lizard carry their supplies. "Why not?" Sanji said as they started to move to Yuba. "We're going have to make sure to conserve our water intake." Sanji said as he placed the water barrel with everything else. "Why?" Luffilia asked as they kept walking into the desert. "Because we need the water to last us to Yuba." Vivi said, continuing onward. "Oh, so I shouldn't use Eridanus?" Luffilia asked as she walked with Chopper and Usopp.

Nami was on Lacerta after tripping and falling that Zoro just placed her on the lizard. "What's Eridanus?" Nami asked, looking at Virgo Luffilia. "Celestial River water. The people who used to take care of me used to describe it as the freshest water they ever had." Luffilia said, not going into any more details. "This whole time you could make water out of thin air?" Sanji asked, impressed even more. "I have been refilling our water when we got low a few times." Luffilia said as if it was nothing. "Oh good, then." Usopp said, taking a big gulp of water without a second thought.

They reached a small crag for the night after Luffilia finally changed back. "Few, I just remember why I don't use Virgo." Luffilia said as she lay down with a big slab of meat on the bone in front of her. "Ture, but you're still full of surprises, especially libra that can balance your power to others like that." Usopp said, eating his fill. Vivi smiled as her friends took the time to just relax and whine down from desert hiking.

They were back at it the next day when Luffilia went a head to another crag ahead of everyone. There, Luffilia saw dying birds instead of doing what they thought she would do. She went up to them and pet them. "There, there you must be hungry here. Have some fish." Luffilia said, handing the birds fish to the point where they were confused before flying away. "Did I do something wrong?" Luffilia said as everyone caught up with her. "They said you scared them."Chopper said, taking a drink of water, making the birds jealous.

Then something came to them. It was a camel and a giant sandora dragon, Sanji, Zoro, and Luffilia took it down. The camel personally wanted to think Luffilia by allowing her to ride on his back along with any other female. "Oh, I don't mind walking. Thank you for the offer." Luffilia said, petting the Camel. "I don't like him." Sanji said as Zoro just stood still before walking to Luffilia, picking her up and on the camel. "You been doing a lot take a break." Zoro said, continuing onward. So eyelash carried Vivi and Luffilia while Nami was still on Lacerta to Yuba. It was once again night time when they reached Yuba, but a sand storm came through.

Yuba wasn't the oasis that Vivi remembered it used to be. They met with Toh-Toh the last civilian of Yuba, after the rebellion left. "Katora!" Vivi said, thinking of how much time they wasted to get here. "Did you say Vivi?" Toh-Toh asked, looking at Vivi as if recognizing her. He told her that he still believes in the king and how he hasn't given up hope. He tried to stop the rebellion, but they wouldn't listen.

When offered a place to rest for the night, they didn't complain. Vivi watched as the boys bicker back and forth before turning to Luffilia. "Luffilia, can we talk?" Vivi asked before leaving to go outside. Toh-Toh was still digging to get to the water when two shadows appeared. "Luffilia, I know I have no right to ask you, but can you please help Toh-Toh out?" Vivi asked as Luffilia looked back to the ditch and Vivi. "Tomorrow, if we can dig out a place, then I can fill it, so don't worry." Luffilia said, smiling as Vivi looked relieved.

The next morning, Luffilia stood over the hole that Toh-Toh dogged up before filling it with water. "Thank you, Princess. I know that you wouldn't let your people down." Toh-Toh said as everyone refiled their water. "Don't worry, I will do everything to help my country no matter what." Vivi said before living when Luffilia just stopped and sat down. "Luffilia, what are you doing? we need to go." Vivi said as Luffilia sat there. "Hmmm, nope." Luffilia said, leaning against a rock. "Vivi, tell me how is stopping the rebels going to stop one of the seven warlords. A pirate that is protected by the government just because he stopped some pirates from interfering with his plans." Luffilia said, looking Vivi in the eyes. "I think it's best not to go there at all." Luffilia said as everyone listened. "But!" Vivi started only to be interrupted by Luffilia. "You think you can stop all this without blood shed. That naive thinking if I ever heard any." Luffilia said as Nami tried to stepped in but was stopped by Sanji.

Vivi just looked at Luffilia, trying to make sense of what she's saying. "Is it wrong to want people not to die!" Vivi said as Luffilia got up. "People die!" Vivi hit Luffilia straight in the face as tears started to pick. "Is it wrong for wanting both sides to live." Vivi said as Luffilia got back up. "But you're willing to die in their place, aren't you." Luffilia said, punching her back. "Tell me how dying will save everyone." Luffilia said as the rest just stood still looking between them. "Then let us help you we're your friends, and dying for others isn't how it should end!" Luffilia said as it sunk in, making Vivi cry. "And you want to kick Crocodiles butt so let's go after him." Luffilia said, wiping away the blood dripping from her nose.
