I used to live with Renn Castiglione for like, hmm... let's say six months? Though it kinda felt like he and I lived in separate worlds. It's not only because he and I go to different schools. Living with Renn feels... unreal? Every time I check my Instantgrom, I would occasionally see his posts racking in many likes and comments. He would post his latest hangout with another influencer or a snapshot of a romantic moment with his current girlfriend. Occasionally, he would post backstage photos of the theater plays he's in or in his photoshoots for magazines.
Sometimes I would pinch myself and ask myself why he would allow me to share an apartment room with me. He would try to talk to me as if he wants to connect with me, but I feel that he's in a whole other level, so in the end, we had a really awkward relationship where at best, we acknowledge each other's presence and move on in our lives. I still feel bad because he tries his best to be close with me.
I mean, the place was good. There was a lot of space since it's that kind of high-end apartments. I can enjoy my personal space. The price is a big shocker, though, but it was still within my budget.
Thing is... sometimes, I wonder. Does Renn ever sleep?
There would be times where I pull some all-nighters, and then suddenly I find Renn coming home at around 1am. Seems that he came from a party or something. He would apologize and then he would go to his room and... I don't know. I don't even bother knowing what he's doing behind that closed door. But sometimes I would hear the noises from his TV, so I thought, "he's probably watching some Netflicks."
But whenever I wake up, Renn is already awake. At first, I would surmise than Renn's a morning person. But even if he stayed up all night, somehow... he's... he's awake, and he goes around his regular schedule as if he had a good night's sleep.
That's what I can say during my experience as his roommate, though. It was probably a little bit rough on his end when I was forced to look for a cheaper room to stay, though. As for why, umm... it's kind of personal, so let's leave it at that.
