James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black; more commonly known as The Marauders, ran the school. They were either praised or feared by everyone except Lily. They were most well known for their practical jokes, which they played on a regular basis to unsuspecting first years, or more commonly, Slytherins. There favourite person to prank being Severus Snape.
This caused many contrasting opinions between them and Lily as Severus (or Sev as she called him) was her best friend. Lily despised them, (with the exception of Remus) James especially. James was the worst in her opinion, he was arrogant, cruel, and cocky. He also had an obsession with Lily and had been asking her out since her 1st year at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. She every time had declined, his constant flirting just making her desire to punch him expand.
Despite being muggle born, Lily was top of her class; she is smart and very kind, not to mention beautiful. She had fiery red hair which sat at her shoulders elegantly, framing her face. Her deep emerald eyes glowed with love and complemented her pale completion. Last year at Hogwarts she was a prefect, to no ones surprise. She loved reading and if she wasn't with her friends, she was most likely in the library, studying.
