The boys opened their eyes. They were in a cabin. Brian stood up and peered out the window to see a load of soldiers lined up.

"Well, this is a familiar sight," Brian muttered.

"Do you know where we are?" Roger asked.

"No, but I can find out," Brian replied.

Brian opened up the door. The door screeched as he opened it.

"Excuse me, sir?" Brian asked, "Do you know where we are?"

The man gasped, "Sir, I firmly demand you get back into your house and stay there," he yelled.

"Where are we? I need to know," Brian replied.

"Gettysburg, we are in Gettysburg," the man replied.

Brian nodded and shut the door, "We need to barricade the windows," Brian said.

"Why, Brian?" Deaky asked.

"We are going to witness one of the most tragic battles in American history," Brian explained, "The battle at Gettysburg took place on July 1st, July 2nd, and July 3rd of 1863. The Union and Confederate soldiers were battling for Pennsylvania. At the end of the day, over 40,000 men died in the battle and one ordinary woman, making biscuits was hit by a misfired bullet, and she was killed. That's why we are barricading the windows."

"How are we gonna get out of here, then?" Roger asked.

"That's the least of our concerns right now," Brian said, "This is quite possibly the most dangerous of our adventures, yet."

All was calm for a few minutes, until it was anything but calm.

All to be heard, were the sounds of gunshots being fired and soldiers screaming as they died for their country.

From the corner of his eye, Brian saw Roger looking out the window.

"Roger Meddows Taylor!" Brian scolded.

He stopped talking when he noticed tears running down Roger's face.

"What's the matter, love?" John asked, as Brian grabbed Roger in his arms.

"I wish I wouldn't have seen that," Roger said.

"This is why we listen to Brian," Freddie laughed, "It'll be okay, darling."

"I would suggest taking a rest, but with all of this noise, it'd be close to impossible," Deaky said, rubbing Roger's back.

"You guys wanna know something cool that I know," Freddie asked.

"What, Fred?" Brian asked.

"Now a days, Gettysburg is supposedly one of the most haunted places in the world. Many people who are into paranormal visit Gettysburg to see if it's true," Freddie told the guys.

"Maybe if we ever get home, we can travel up here to see what it's like when there isn't a war taking place," Brian suggested.
