3rd POV
It was a week in a half after the Sports Festival and after finally recovering, Bakugo kept his word.
He really wanted to make up with Y/N and make it up to her.
Before he could even think about talking to her, he first had to work on himself. He knew she wouldn't give him the time if she could sense no change.
With that being said, he did the last thing he wanted to do... go to anger management and sought out a therapist.
Though he was the school's guidance counselor, Inui sensei thought it was best if the boy got anger management off campus since he wanted to keep these visits private. With that, he helped the blonde find one.
During the first week of going, he slowly started to open up to his therapist.
He explained his friendship with Izuku and Y/N. He talk about the things they use to do as kids. He even expressed his happiness and his gratitude of their friendship.
Towards the end of the week, the therapist, Dr. Kegi, finally spoke.
He suggested that Bakugo relearn how to keep his cool whenever something trigger his anger.
Whether that was carrying a stress ball, doing breathing exercises, or just plainly walking away from the situation to think through before acting out.
By the next week, some people noticed a change in Bakugo.
Even Aizawa took note on the change of his demeanor and he was quite proud of him.
Students noticed he didn't get mad as much as he use to.
It seemed like he would hold back and would just walk away from whatever was pissing him off.
They didn't understand why and they didn't dare ask him about it.
He even started to actually acknowledge both Izuku and Y/N and gave them small waves whenever they were around.
The first time he did it, they didn't know how to react, but they gave it a chance. They would give small smiles and wave back.
During the second week, it came down to talking about what changed and how the friends separated.
It was because of him and it wounded him to admit the fact. It hurts to know it was his fault for causing trouble and pain.
Why did his quirk change him so, it was because of the other kids.
When he was eight, he let them get in his head telling him how amazing and cool he was.
They then questioned him why he was still friends with people who were considered quirkless at the time.
So he did what he thought was right, bully them and made fun for being quirkless and weak.
In his mind they deserved it, but deep down in his heart he knew they didn't.
