Zaks pov

Darryl walked to me, " you alright?" He asked, he sat beside me. My shoulder touched his, " am fine" I said, I looked at me with a concerned expression.
" you sure?" He asked again " am okay no need to worry" I assured him, he nodded " you want to go home?" He asked. I looked at the ocean" can we watch the sunset?" I asked

" sure if you want to" he said, " can I say something " Darryl said, I turned to look at him " uh sure?" I said
He looked at me and smiled " thank you" he said, I smiled " for what?" I asked, he sighed. " well, you were a jerk in the beginning. But you said sorry and know your like my best friend" he said, I giggled " am I really your best friend?" I asked , he smiled

" you are, you make me happy. You make me feel like am the only person in your world." He said, he laughed
" and your the only person in my world" Darryl looked at me, he smiled.
". You are the only person in my world Darryl." I replied, I never noticed those eyes " wow you have pretty eyes" I said, he giggled " really? You think so" he said, I nodded " the prettiest" I laughed

" why, thank you!" He teased, Darryl turned to the ocean " look at that sunset" he said, I looked towards it " wow" I was mesmerized, it's the most amazing view ever. We watched it for a bit " you wanna go home and watch a movie?" Darryl asked " yes! Please" I said, we got up. " can I hold you hand?" Darryl asked, I was hesitant

" Darryl...." I said, he looked away
" ya I forgot" he said, " it's fine" I replied. We walked to the car, I got in and so did Darryl. He started the car and we drove home. " so what movie do you want to watch when we go home?" He asked, I thought to myself " lion king!" I happily said, he nodded
" do have popcorn I asked, " yup I bought some at the store" he said

" good! Cause I won't watch a movie without popcorn!" I declared, " same, are you hungry?" He asked " ya, we can just order food" I said, " alright! You can order it" he said, I got out my phone and called a pizza place. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and some wings. " there that should arrive in 20 minutes" I said, Darryl nodded

We arrived at the house, we went inside. I sat on the couch, Darryl sat beside me. He went to Disney +
" the original lion king? Or the remade one" he asked " original" I said, then someone knocked on our door
" must be the pizza person" I said, I got up and walked to the door. I opened the door " here is you pizza and wings, that will be 25$" he said,

I gave him the money and a tip. I closed the door. I set the pizza on the table " time to eat!" I said, " coming!" Darryl got up and sat down, " ooo! This looks good" Darryl took a slice, " want something to drink?" I asked, " mhm just give me water" Darryl replied, I got him a water bottle " here" I placed it infront of him. " thx" he thanked me.

I sat down, I started to eat " so today was nice" Darryl said " it was" I replied
" mrs.r was nice" I said, he smiled " she is, she's like my mother" Darryl replied, " she been there since I was little" he happily said, he took a sip of his water.
" that's really adorable Darryl" I said,
" that Mrs.r is like a mother to you" i took a bite out of my wings

" I wish my mother was as nice as Mrs.r" Darryl said, he sighed
" well at least you have someone" I responded, Darryl looked at me
" what do you mean by that?" He asked
" well my own house hold, makes me feel alone" I said, Darryl smiled
" you have me you know, you dork" he giggled, " your right" I replied

We finished eating, I put the left overs in the fridge. I went and sat down at the couch, " hurry up Darryl!" I yelled,
" am going, just getting the popcorn" he replied, he came with a bowl of popcorn. He set it down on the table
" there, now we can start" he said, he sat down. We were a few inches away.

Darryl started the movie, we were watching it for 15 minutes. " I have to use the restroom" Darryl announced, he got up. He went to the bathroom, I went and took some popcorn out of the bowl. " mhm!" I said, I took another piece " delicious!" I kept watching the movie, Darryl came back. He sat down, but this time he was closer. We where almost touching shoulders.

Then suddenly he laid his head on my shoulder, I jumped. I looked down at Darryl, he looked so peaceful. I wrapped my arms around him.
What's going on... shouldn't I push him away? But I want this... I have this feeling in my stomach. It makes me feel, loved... like am in love. But with who?

I feel this feeling when Darryl almost kissed me, and when he giggles . When he went and he teases me. I felt jealous when Will made a move on Darryl. When those girls asked him for his number. When that person commented on his post .

But doesn't this mean.... I like Darryl?

No... no no no no I can't, I can't fall inlove with a guy.. I won't... and I will never... maybe if I push Darryl away this feeling will go away? I need to try
