Chapter 19 -Baileys POV-

After that outburst in class, I felt guilty, very guilty. I should apologize to her.

I start walking to her dorm and see her and Tom in the hallways, I wasn't ready to talk to Tom yet, or even look at him, he hurt me, she can wait a couple of minutes. I head back to my dorm and sit down on my bed, she didn't know, I called her a slut, omg I feel so terrible! I shouldn't have done that, I need to apologize in a couple of minutes, but will she accept my apology? She better accept it or I swear to god.

Its been a while I should check on her, I get up off my bed and head to her dorm. I knock, No answer. "Sarah?" I say "Sarah are you in there?" I'm kind of worried now "Sarah I'm coming in" I walk into her dorm and look around, everything is packed, where could she have gone? is this my fault? I shouldn't have said that in class. God, I feel terrible! There is only one way to know where she has gone, I go to Toms dorm and knock on the door.

"Yes?" he sounds kind of annoyed and sad at the same time

"Where did Sarah go?" I say trying not to look at him

"She's in her dorm, I was just with her a second ago," He says

"She left..." I say quietly 

"What?" he says with confusion in his voice 

"She's gone," I say louder 

"What are you talking about?!" he says with worry in his voice

"Everything is packed in her dorm and she's not-" He runs out of his dorm and into hers

"Damn it! I should've stayed with her," he says angrily

"What are you talking about?!" I say 

"I can't tell you I'm sorry," he says

"She's my best friend, I have a right to know!" I say demanding

"You have to owl her." He says "Now, I'm going to sleep and don't talk to me unless its something from Sarah," He says as he leaves

"But-" He leaves before I could say anything, I head back to my dorm and lay down in my pajamas, I stare at the ceiling. I fall asleep.

-The Next Morning-

I wake up from an announcement.

"Everyone meet in the great hall, immediately" 

I groan and get changed, I head to the great hall and see Snape standing in front of everyone.

"Hello children," he says in his depressing voice. "Since if recent events I will be the new headmaster, Dumbledore is gone."

everyone gasps, everyone is chattering and gossiping

"SILENCE!" says a very loud dark voice, It's Snape.

Everyone goes quiet 

"Now I will have the carrows to help around Hogwarts, you will respect them and do everything your asked or you will get punished by them," he says

Everyone looks scared or shocked and I was a mixture of both

"Also if anyone sees Harry Potter and fails to report it will face huge consequences," He says

Everyone puts their heads down

"That is all," he says as he teleports away.

Everyone walks away with carrows following behind us, I was scared, very scared. I look over and see Tom, No one is following him, he looks unphased. I roll my eyes and think "he only gets this 'special' treatment cause he's Voldemorts son."

The carrows followed all of us until we reached our dorms and locked us in for the night using a security spell. I hear one of the Carrows yelling

"HEADMASTER SNAPE TOLD US TO TELL YOU TO STUDY BEFORE LIGHTS OUT, AND IF YOU DONT YOU WILL GET IN A LOT OF TROUBLE!" 

"Ugh now I have to study," I say in my head.

I study for what felt like hours until I hear yet another one of the carrows yelling

"LIGHTS OUT!" 

I turn off my lights and go to sleep.
