Pink's POV -
After making sure Ollia got home safe, It was time for me to go home. Hm...home, a place full of love. Supposed to be a safe place, Mine was anything but. I would rather stay with this girl I just met then go back to my parents. They would act normal around everyone, but when we were home was a different story, especially mother.
I finally made it to the front door of my house. I still cant believe we live in this huge mansion. To everyone else it looks like such an amazing place to live, to have everything done for you, to have everything you need. But that's just the mask from the outside, the inside feels more like a prison.
I slowly turned the door handle, letting out a heavy sigh. Opening the door I was immediately greeted by our servant Angela, who was cleaning all of the muddy paw prints off of the wood floor.
"I'm guessing the hound was outside?" Angela nodded and laughed,
"It is hot out so he will always go straight to the pond down the hill".
I giggled and took my shoes off, leaving them by the door so she wouldn't have to clean up the dirt too. Puting my hands in my hoodie pocket I walked up to her,
"Are mother and father home yet?". She shook her head,
"Not that I know of no, But I would get up to your room and start studying before they do. You did get home late after all."
I nodded and walked past her to the stairs.
"Why were you anyway? You are never usually late"
I stopped half way up the stairs, "something happened with the new girl on her way home, I saw she was being followed by one of Micahs friends. It didnt sit right with me so I followed to make sure she was okay. I ended up finding him beating the crap out of her, so I stepped in"Angela frowned, "You two aren't hurt badly are you?" Shaking my head I flexed one of my arms,
"No I'm alright, I can handle my own in a fight. All those tussles with Micah as a kid definitely helped and I healed what I could of her injuries"
She laughs and walks up the stairs towards me, whispering so no one in the house would here, specifically Micah.
"Speaking of which, have you ever found out what he does that drives away all of the other new students? It's strange that they would just leave without saying anything, the parents too".
I shook my head, "No I haven't and I'm positive mother and father dont care enough to find out. I'm going to keep a close eye on this one, see what he does. Hopefully I can stop him from doing whatever it is to anyone else. It doesn't sit right with me that all of them just disappear like that, especially if the parents dont say anything either".
She nodded and took my hand, "Whatever you choose to do just be careful, I know it's a handful already with your parents. If you need anything at all I am here to help, when I'm not cleaning hound prints off the floor"
I laughed and let go of her hand,
"Of course, thank you Angela". She smiled and went back to work.Turning around I walked up to my bedroom, prison cell more like. They even had metal bars on the window. I've tried messing with them before, I am definitely not strong enough to move them. Any time I tried to use any form of magic on them they would shoot and electric shock my way. It would get worse the larger amount of magic I used, perks of having a rich family I guess, they pay for top security.
I quickly opened my bag and got out everything I needed to study, placing it all on my desk in front of the window. Sitting down I sighed, leaning into the chair and stared up at the ceiling. I could see all of the small glow in the dark stars on my ceiling. Sometimes I want to go back to the times when I first put those up, my parents seemed like they actually cared. Micah wasn't as strange, we would find small dead animals around though. He always blamed our hell hound Orroz but I always knew it was him. Other then that he would actually genuinely smile, we would play games together and just hangout. But when we got older something changed, in him and my parents. He would distance himself from me, my parents would be more strict. We had to be the best we could be, though usually that wasn't good enough. We are always pushed and pushed to uphold the family name, one of us are going to take over the company one day. I dont want to, I really dont. Micah could have it for all I care, I just dont want to be apart of this family anymore. The only true family I have are Angela and Orroz, I dont really have any friends either, I intimidate everyone. I'm not even scary, At least I dont think I am. To be honest I'm scared to even make friends, I know that my parents will find a way to ruin it. I'm not allowed to have any distractions, just study.
