Ollia's POV-

I woke up to the screaming of my alarm, like actual screaming. Reaching over the side of my bed I smacked my scroll and the screaming stopped. I need to change that alarm sound.
I'm not really a morning person so it took me a few minutes to get up and ready. My first day of highschool out of the city, this should be fun.

I sighed and headed to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and tried to fix my hair. I have a short blue and purple pixie cut and it likes to do whatever it wants some days. I just sprayed it to keep it from sticking up and I was satisfied with it. I loved this hairstyle, whenever it cooperated with me anyway. I used to have longer hair, since it's so hot here almost year round I thought, might as well chop it all off. My dad isn't really a fan because I look to much like a boy, but at least now I dont look like a lion when I wake up. I'd have to visit the human relm sometime and see a real one.

Walking out of the bathroom I saw that my parents were up already and eating breakfast. I looked at my scroll and saw I didnt really have enough time to eat with them so I just grabbed some peanut butter toast, chugging a glass of apple blood. I let them know I was leaving and walked outside.

The walk to school wasn't that far, I just walked the path through the forest, finishing my toast, until I came across the small town. Walking through the streets felt weird, almost everyone would stare at me. Everyone knows everyone here, to them I'm some city girl. Ignoring their gaze, I glanced up at the small hill, somewhat away from the part of town I was in. There was a house and a big one at that, could be a mansion. I wonder who lives up there.

After walking a little while I made it to school, it was about a 10 to 15 minute walk but I took my time today. Walking though the front door I looked down the hall, I didnt know any of these kids. Everyone stopped and stared my way. I froze not knowing what to do, so I awkwardly waved.
"H-hi"
No one said anything to me, just went back to doing their own thing before classes start.

I sighed and walked down the hall to the front office and up to the front desk.
"Hi, my name is Ollia Nixon. I'm starting here today and I have no idea what I'm doing"
the woman behind the desk laughed. "Why hello there, here let me find your schedule for you."
After searching through drawers she found a paper and handed it to me. "Here is your schedule, I'm going to call one of our students to help you around the school okay?"
I nodded and watched the woman draw a circle in the air with her finger. A small intercom mic with bat wings appeared in her hand.
"Pink Ambrose please come to the front office, Pink Ambrose"

I waited for a few minutes in one of the chairs they had in the room. Eventually a girl walked in, she was a bit shorter then me, long pink hair to match her name. She had a magenta colored eye, the left covered with a black eye patch. She wore a black hoodie with a cute white rabbit on it, and some grey Jeans. There were some spots of white in her dark skin, Vitiligo I believe it's called. She was actually really pretty. I realized I was staring and looked away.

She glanced in my direction, then back to the woman behind the desk. "Hey Mrs.Verch, this the new kid?" She made a thumbs up and pointed it over her shoulder towards me.
"Yes she is, Principal Eldridge would like you to help her around the school, show her her classes and whatnot"
Pink nodded and turns to me,
"Hello there, I'm Pink Ambrose. It's nice to meet you".
She held out her left hand, I stood up and shook her hand.
"Hey, I'm Ollia, Ollia Nixon. Nice to meet you too".
She let go of my hand and turned to the door.
"Alrighty then new girl, let's get going. Classes are going to start soon".
I nodded and followed behind her.

After showing me where all my classes were the bell screamed, like actually screaming. They need to change that too. Pink turnd to me, "op, that's the bell. Time to head to class, you had Mr. Grim first right?"
I looked at the paper Mrs.Verch had given me,
"Yep I do". She smiles,
"guess we are headed the same way, I have his class too".
I laughed, "good to know I'll at least have one person I know in there"
