"Hi Stephen!" Astrid shook hands with the man, smiling ear to ear.

That day, she was featured in a gold headband, a black tube top with lace patterned on top, and black jeans, a gold lacing on her black boots.

The audience cheered, and Stephen Colbert grinned, greeting her in friendly words.

"So, for the question we're all asking, Astrid," Stephen asked as soon as they settled down, "How is Peter as a friend?"

Astrid blushed, fiddling with her fingers, "I'm not really supposed to say this out loud," she admitted, and the audience got quiet as she opened her mouth, "I idolize him so much!"

The audience groaned, Stephen included. Astrid burst into laughter, pointing at their disappointed figures, "Your guy's faces though!"

"Yeah. Um, I would never tell this to Peter straightforward, so if you're watching this, turn it off, you weirdo," Astrid giggled, "But oh my gosh, I absolutely love his acting! And Madeleine is absolutely perfect for him."

"Ah, I see," Stephen nodded, "Now, is it true that you have ADHD and dyslexia?"

Astrid nodded, "My manager didn't want me to reveal it, but I thought why not, right? Yes, I have ADHD and dyslexia, and I'm heavily medicated for ADHD. Dyslexia's a b-" bleep, "when I'm writing songs, or reading them," she admits, the audience laughing, "But, it's my passion. No dyslexia will stop me from that."

The audience cheers, and Astrid waggles her eyebrows teasingly, "Girls, I hope you know I see your thirsty tweets too. Not just the guys."

Half of the audience blushed, and Astrid giggled, "I'm down, though. I'm pan, so-"

The audience cheered again, and Astrid started clapping happily, Stephen laughing his ass off, "That's right! Can we get our pan Kings and Queens standing up?"

- three years earlier -

"Hey, girl- there's a lot of traffic today.. I was wondering if you could help me get to work?"

"Oh, thanks," James Corden sighed thankfully, "Alright, I'll see you there."

James rested on his hand, "Oh, the traffic is a bummer here..."

"Hey, James!" Astrid slid in the car, grinning wildly. Today, under the hot summer sun, she was dressed in a dark blue sundress with white sunflowers on it, her hair curled behind her in a braid, dyed white at the ends.

"Ah, hey Astrid!" James smiled, and the audience cheered their greetings.

"Mmm... the traffic in Canada is so much better then here," Astrid winced teasingly.

"I disagree. England is much, much better- the.. the flow is just there, you know?" James's English accent came out, and Astrid smiled, "Now, do you, would you mind if I put some music on?"

"Of course!" Astrid's head tilted, and Confetti by Little Mix came on. Astrid cheered, "Woohoo! I love this song!"

The electronic beat was turned louder, and Astrid duetted the song with James excitedly.

"We wanna celebrate like we in the club every day." James started off, "Got all my friends here with me, And I don't need ya, I don't need ya. Got this dress up on me, So I don't need your stress up on me. Baby, we're done, c'est la vie. Now I don't need ya, I don't need ya,"

Astrid continued it, her voice making the audience cheer as she stared into the camera and blew a kiss, "Should've left your ass from time ago. Didn't love me then, but now I do. I used to sit at home and cry for you. Diamonds on my neck, I shine for you. Ain't blocking my blessings anymore, Never be the girl I was before. I'ma let the good things in my life rain down. From the sky, drop like confetti."

Here, they harmonized, Astrid trying not to laugh as James pulled out a golden headband and put it on himself while singing, "All eyes on me, so V.I.p. All of my dreams, from the sky, drop like confetti. Drop it down, You're missin' me, but I'm finally free. I got what I need, so let it rain down like confetti"

"I don't know how you do it, Astrid, but you can pull of an outfit in any headband." James admitted, and Astrid blushed, covering her mouth with her hand, a habit she got from Thomas.

"Aw, thanks James, but I don't think- oooh!" Astrid's eyes locked on the bag of headbands the man pulled a bag of the stretchy fabrics, "Those are colourful."

"Yes they are," James grinned, "And- see?"

He pointed to Astrid in disbelief, who had put the rainbow headband on, and although it comply mismatched her outfit, it still looked good.

"Wha-see?" And James put the same one on, Astrid and the audience bursting into laughter.

"Now, I may not be Ellen, but here," James handed her the bag.

"Oh my gosh, thank you!" Astrid giggled, high-giving the man.

- five minutes later -

The song, [rare, by selena gomez ]ended, and the audience cheered. James turned to Astrid, "So I hear you like horror rooms."

Astrid laughed, "I do. I actually love them."

"Well, that's where we're going next, then."
