"Oh, okay!" Astrid smiled, "It's a good thing then, that I uh," She unzips her dress, revealing a dark blue long sleeve and white sweats, "That I came prepared."

James stared in shock, then looked at the camera, "I swear to you, I did not plan this."

"He didn't," Astrid whispered into the camera, giggling quietly as they both got out of the car.

- five minutes later -

"Okay..." Astrid chuckled nervously, "I don't think this is an escape room, James."

"Me neither," The man whispered, checking his phone. "Oh no."

"What?" Astrid hissed, trying to find him in the dark room, "What's wrong? Are you okay?"

"It's a horror room." James replied.

"bleep"

The audience chuckled at Astrid's unexpected profanity, and James let out a sigh, staring through the bars hopelessly.

Astrid was having an exvtistantial crisis however; her anxiety was acting up once again, and the darkness didn't really help the situation. She wasn't able to do anything, however, and she put a smile on her face, "C'mon James, let's get out of here!"

Astrid felt the walls, trying to blink back tears. The only good thing about the impending darkness was that no one could see her silently breaking down.

"I got this," She reminded herself quietly, and just then, her hand grazed over a protruding stone in the wall.

Astrid gasped, causing James to come over, "James, I think I've got it!"

She clicked the button, and a large clack sounded across the room, eliciting a scream from Astrid and a bleep from James.

The audience laughed again, merciless in their glee for the suffering host.

"Holy bleep bleep bleep" James gasped, "What the bleep was that?"

Astrid rubbed her eyes behind James's back, trying hard not to get panicked. It was her fault, she should've told the writers about her anxiety... it was her fault. Always was.

"It's okay," Astrid's voice cracked, "We... what is that?"

James bent down and grabbed a key from the ground, shining it with his flashlight, "My bleep God, it's a bleep key. A moth- bleep key."

"Go! GO!" Astrid screamed, backing away as a white clothed figure came into the small room.

"What? What?" James asked, opening the door slowly, oblivious to the figure creeping behind him, Astrid huddled in the corner with her hand on her mouth.

"Wha- Astrid, now is not the time for pranks- BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP" James screamed, jumping in the air as he threw his flashlight at the figure's gut.

Astrid ran down the corridor wordlessly, and James grabbed the flashlight before following her, the audience cackling at this point.

"GO GO GO!" Astrid screeched, grabbing James in the next door, a barred one, and both of them screamed bloody murder as the figure ran in front of the door, sticking his white mask between the bars leeringly.

"bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep" Astrid chanted, James on the floor, trying to regain his stolen breath.

"WHAT THE bleep WAS THAT?" James hollered, and the figure was gone.

Astrid almost, almost burst into tears right then and there, but she was saved by James opening another door into a room with bunk beds in it.\

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god..." Astrid chanted.

James pointed up at one of the bunks, "I think there's a note up there..."

The two looked at each other expectantly, and the audience started laughing at their nervousness.

"bleep I'll go," Astrid sighed, and climbed up nervously, grabbing the piece of paper.

"Look- look in front of you?" Astrid questioned, walking off the bunk.

Another white figure jumped up from the bed that the note was on, causing Astrid to scream and throw the note, "GET THE bleep AWAY, YOU bleep!

"WHAT THE bleep?" James screamed, jumping around the figure as Astrid continued to scream, both of them running in a circle around the small room.

The figure grabbed at James's legs, and Astrid kicked at the ground next to him, not wanting to hurt the person on the ground.

- ten minutes later -

Astrid and James were walking outside of the escape room, through the lobby. The girl picked up two glasses of water, and waited by the door as James paid.

Sure enough, the two actors came out, one woman and one man, and Astrid thrust the glasses into their hands.

"Thank you so much," she smiled, "I promise, I had a lot of fun. Thank you, again."

And they walked out.

"Holy bleep bleep," Astrid breathed, James getting in the car besides her.

"Oh my gosh," He sighed in relief, "I don't know how we survived that one."

"bleep yeah," Astrid sighed.

The audience cheered, and the end credits rolled.
