Chapter 5: Death's Door

- (Y/N)'s POV -

Those few words I said to Momo was a promise and I plan on keeping them. I've never really made friends back then due to choosing to train over hanging out with people so I don't want to lose my first friend I've made here.

Momo: "No. We will protect each other."

I smile as she takes my arm off of her and instead holds my hand with both of hers. 

Me: "Okay then, stay close."

I look down the stairs and watch as the dangerous villains approach us slowly. Momo suddenly pulls me by my hand as we walk through the class to get to the front. Everyone was panicking wondering how the villains got in and I'm assuming Momo is taking the initiative and asking Thirteen.

Momo: "Teacher, what about the trespasser sensors?"

Thirteen: "We have them of course but..."

Todoroki: "Did they only appear here or around the whole school? Either way, if the sensors are not responding that means they have someone with a quirk that can do that in an isolated area separated from the main campus, during a time when a class is supposed to be here. They might be fools, but they're not dumb."

Me: "So you're saying that this surprise attack was planned and with an objective?"

Ice boy nods at what I said.

Aizawa: "Thirteen. Start the evacuation and try calling the school. These villains even had something to counteract the sensors. It's possible someone with radio-wave-type powers is interfering. Kaminari!" Everyone looks at sparky. "You try contacting the school with your quirk too."

Midoriya: "What will you do sensei? Will you fight by yourself? With that many, even if you can erase their quirks, Eraser Head's fighting style is capturing after erasing the enemy's quirk. A frontal battle is..."

Aizawa: "You can't be a hero with just one trick. In other words, I'm leaving it to you Thirteen."

She nods and teach jumps from the top of the staircase all the way down to the same level as the villains... which was really far down. But it was badass.

While I was mesmerized by the fighting of teach, Momo pulls my arm.

Momo: "(Y/N)! Pay attention we got of get out of here!"

Me: "Right..."

I look back at teach wondering if I should help him but then I think back at how I told Momo that I'd protect her. I shook my head telling myself to stop thinking and leave. Teach isn't a pro hero for nothing so I decided to follow the class.

Suddenly a black circle appeared from the floor and in front of us. It then grew into a large ghost looking form with yellow eyes.

Black Ghost: "I won't let you run away so nice to meet you. We are the League of Villains. It may be presumptuous of us but we have invited ourselves in to the home of the heroes, UA High School in order to have All Might, the symbol of peace, take his last breath. I believed that All Might should've been here. Has there been some sort of change? Well that doesn't matter as I am here now."

I notice Thirteen about to use her quirk but stupid Bakugo and Kirishima attacked the ghost.

Kirishima: "Did you consider that you'd get beaten by us before you did it?"

Black Ghost: "Oh dear, that's dangerous. That's right. Even if you are students, you are excellent golden eggs."

Thirteen: "This is bad. Move away you two!"
