The Paris Trap

I looked at my phone screen and realized we had been flying for at least an hour...
ONLY AN HOUR?! HOW THE HELL?! IT FEELS LIKE IT'S BEEN SEVERAL IT'S SO GOD DAMN BORING HERE!
I sigh and lean into my seat, glancing at Flare who was sleeping quietly against the window. It was dark outside and the stars and moon were shining brightly... Ah, I love the night time it's where all of my best works for writing come from! I smiled and remembered how I and Vee would stay up way past midnight writing down stories... I grab a book from inside one of the pockets on the back of the bland grey seat in front of us... I loved this book series so much... Cats fighting for their rights of their land and prey in the wild, free of us dumb ass humans! It was probably the best book series in the entire world! I look over my shoulder to see Bella,  Vee, Sparrow, and surprisingly Thorn all chatting away smiling...
I smile at Thorn as he looks my way and he merely arches his eyebrow and goes back to talking with the others... I chuckle slightly to myself, so we still don't exactly like each other yet. Whatever. I mean, I'm SOMEWHAT a decent person towards him and he is too I suppose in his own special and weird little way... Although if I didn't Vee wouldn't be too impressed to see us yelling at one another all of the time! THAT'S FOR DAMN SURE! If Vee can be a good human being towards my boyfriend, Flare, then the least I can do is be a somewhat decent human towards Thorn. I was suddenly dragged out of my thoughts by Vee who was talking to me...

Guilt in my voice, I say stuttering,
"S-s-sorry, I wasn't paying attention, Vee! Ummm what were you telling me?..."
She merely smiles and waves her hand while casually saying,
"Oh, Luna it's alright! I can understand why you weren't paying attention though! That book your reading is from a very good  series after all!"
I chuckle slightly and nod my agreement, Vee and I had loved this book series for so long!... Since well... Fifth grade! Wow, it's been years since we started reading that series!
Vee continues what she had been stating before, quite happily actually,
"Anywho! As I was saying, Paris! What shall we all do once we get there? Well, once we've gathered our shit together that is!"
I frown slightly, thinking about this for a moment when suddenly Bella speaks up sounding quite serious,
"Sleep."
I laugh and say,
"I can relate to that one hundred percent Bella!"
I hadn't realized that Flare had woken up beside me until he stretched and said sleepily,
"Why not just go to a café so we can rest, eat, and just talk about Paris? I don't really know anything I guess..."
He ended off his sentence with a loud yawn...
I yawn as well, and then this caused a circle of yawning from everyone else, including Thorn.
Vee smiles and nods saying,
"I like that idea! How about we all do exactly that! Agreed?"
She looked around at everyone who nodded their head in approval.
I looked up at Flare and smile at him warmly, he smiles back...
How long have we been dating again?... Umm since... Grade... Ten! Yes, Grade ten! Oh woah it's been three years! DAMN! When's he going to put a ring on it?????
I look up at him and say calmly, but with joy brimming my voice,
"Hey Flare... We've been dating for three years now..." He smiles kindly at me and dreamily says,
"Yes, it has been a while hasn't it?..."
Suddenly his face almost instantly constricts into concern and he says hurriedly,
 "Oh shit Luna... R-remember the dream Vee had all those years ago you told me about for the year Thorn had gone missing?..."
I look at him curiously and say wonderingly,
"Yeah sure why?..."
Everyone had shut up at this point and were listening closely for what he would say next because well, EVERYONE remembers THAT dream! It even had a cool code name; "The Paris dream"...
Okay not too cool but whatever.
Thorn just looked confused, oh yeah he was never there when we had those conversations because he was either A) Not with Vee at the time or B) Was being kidnapped...
Flare continued talking in his now thoughtful tone,
"What if... What if it all comes true?..."
I frown thinking about this for a moment... No, it can't be, sure, she's had her dreams where they DID come true... Such as her and Thorn being together... Although I'm pretty sure that's because he had no other choice because everyone else hated him at the time, although Vee has definitely taught him some kindness so he's not as bad as he was before. Another thing is the fact her dream isn't this high in detail, there wasn't much talking on the flight plus it kind of skipped ahead to where we landed... Even that didn't have much detail... But the café?... Us going to Paris after graduation?... Plus the fact we look like what she dreamed of? Although Sparrow was never in her dream... It's still kind of creepy though how some of it is accurate... I smile with a chuckle and say with absolutely zero concern in my voice,
"Ah, I really don't think it'll come true! Besides, we've been through worse!"
Vee smiles at me and nods while saying without fright,
"Yeah, you know what? Your RIGHT Luna!"
I smile and say,
"Always am!"
Thorn just choked on his water right then and there and spat it out onto the chair in front of him with such a loud wheeze I thought he hurt himself. 
Bella just started laughing, probably at both of us not gonna lie.
Vee laughs loudly with them, and pretty quickly everyone there is laughing to the point we don't even remember what we're laughing at which just makes us laugh more... I place my bookmark in my book, saving my place, and put it away resorting to laughing and talking with my friends... This is enjoyable especially when you have your partner's arms wrapped around you tightly laughing along...
I sighed and leaned into him, I hadn't realized how much time had passed...
