•• CLARITY
Chasing relentlessly,
still fighting and I don't know why
If our love is tragedy,
why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity,
why are you my clarity?••

Anos felt his body shake in rage. His vision dimmed. For the first time in a long time he felt a strong desire to destroy.

"There weren't quite as much people than before. Come on, I'm cooking everyone's favourite." Keila gently mused, a giggle escaping her lips.

Her soft voice broke Anos out of his trance. He was confused, how could she smile for another man? Even after he had claimed her.

In his deep thoughts, he hadn't noticed that the family went inside their home. He was only shaken out of it by a tug on his sleeve.

Misha looked at him with a worried gaze. "What are you doing here?" Asked Anos, wiping any emotion from his face. "We should be asking you that." Sasha remarked sassily.

Anos didn't answer her. "We came looking for you because it's about time we headed back, per school curfew rules." Answered Misha, giving Anos a soft smile.

       "I suppose it is."

At the inn, Anos's comrades can't help but question, why was Anos following a woman? Especially with the expression he had at the time. He'd also been strangely quiet and distant.

Without Anos in the room, Sasha, Misha, Lay and Misa drank coffee in the cute cafe adjoined to the inn. "Hey Lay, you're the reincarnation of the hero Kanon right? I mean since the past year you've been fixing the bent history, you should remember your past life right?" Spouted Sasha, sipping a cup of pumpkin spice latte.

Lay nodded. "Of course I do. Why do you ask?"

"Well, aren't you curious about earlier? Anos is acting strange." The brunette replied. Misha nodded in agreement. Lay hummed a low tune of acknowledgement.

"Indeed. I do have an idea, as to why."

The Necron sisters and Misa looked delighted. "Okay, tell us!" They demanded, Lay sighed.

        "All right."

"Two thousand years ago, during the early days of war, even before the talks of peace, I'm sure you know that the Anos you know now might not be quite the same as two thousand years ago." Lay began, setting down the silver spoon.

The ceramic cup glinted a different light. He looked at their eyes and knew that they did know, they just refused to accept it because of how different the Anos they knew was.

"There was a time when the demon king of Tyranny was feared. He was evil. Anos started wars amongst all. He conquered lands, terrorised humans, subjugated spirits and killed celestial beings.

He was so powerful to the point that he brought the war to the heavens. Many land gods died by his hands." Lay stopped when he noticed the disturbed countenance the girls sported. "I'm sorry."

"No, it's fine. It is the truth. Continue."

"Soon, the king of the gods, Onatnom was forced to fight. He sent his angels to fight against Anos's army. At first, the heavenly host won by far. They seemed to be the only army that Anos couldn't defeat.

The war went on for years, but it turned into a stalemate. In time, Anos himself faced the angels. He fought against the strongest angel. The first angel created, Keila.
