Julie's POV 7:50am

"Julie! An advisor is asking for you outside of ASB."
Jenny ran up to me, I nodded and we parted ways as i made my way over.

I saw my ASB advisor standing outside of ASB next to the tables.
"You requested to see me?" I approached her, sat on the table and waited for her to tell me what the hell she needed at 7:50 am. Normally I am totaly nice and chill to her because she's actually cool but it's a Monday and I am tired and stressed out.
Also, she has made the ASB students come to school at like 6:30 for stupid reasons. Like to put up a poster or two, which takes up like five minutes. Or help her bring items from her car into the ASB which we restock during nutrition break.

"There's a new student. And since you have first period ASB, and are really friendly and looking to make more friends, I thought you could show him around?"

"WHAT. WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THIS BEFORE. I HAVE TO PREPARE. OKAY ILL DO IT BUT TELL ME THE DETAILS. TELL ME EVERYTHING."
I get to show around a new kid! Yes! Yay! And it's a guy! I can make more guy friends! Friends! I have to make a good impression.

"I know you're excited but don't over do it okay? Just be yourself."
Mrs. Dutch said, calming me.

I was listening to what she was saying while sprawling through my backpack, grabbing around to make me look presentable.

"So his name is Connor Franta. He moved here from Minnesota and has three siblings. One older, two younger. I got others to show around his sister and older brother, his younger brother is still in 8th grade. I know you've been wanting to make some guy friends so here you go."

"THANK YOU" i exclaimed and she handed me a map of the school and some papers to give him.

"He will be at the office, you are to meet him there at 8:00. In about 5 minutes, so I won't keep you."

"HOLD UP HOLD UP I ONLY HAVE 5 MINUTES?"
I started to put on tinted lip balm.

"Yes yes, I know it's a late telling but I know how much you've been wanting to do this."

"OKAY OKAY IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?"

"Umm. Remember to give him your number, be finished showing him around before your second period, and when you are finished, bring him back here. That should be it."

"Okay. Alright. I got this. Thank you Mrs. Dutch!"
I finished doing whatever I had to do and made my way to the office. Before I opened the door, I sprayed perfume on and patted down my clothes. Looking in the reflection, and nodding, approving of my appearance. I walked in and smiled at the attendance lady, as well as to any other staff, parent or student that walked by.
I saw Ally, Nico, and Kelivn standing around the microphone, awaiting for the time to do the announcements. I waved to them and they did so back.

I continued my way to the end of the hall by the waiting chairs, assuming Connor was there. And he was.

"Hi, hello. I'm Julie, I'll be showing you around."
I walked up to the guy, smiled and waved. Reaching my hand out, to shake his, which he obliged.

"Hi, I'm Connor."
He smiled, awkwardly nervous, grabbing my hand with a little shake and quickly let go.

"I know you're nervous, don't worry about it, everyone is on their first day. Is there anything you need? Oh, and just to let you know I'm a sophomore also, and am in ASB."

"No, no I'm fine."

"Alrighty then. Well, I'll be your tour guide, person, of the day!"
I smiled and gestured to myself.

He chuckled and nodded, standing up, grabbing his backpack and stood beside me. He handed me his schedule and I examined it.

"Oh! You have PE dance right now! Cool! That means you hopefully aren't missing that much, so this is good! Follow me!"
I showed him around the school.

His personality was bubbly, but I could tell that he was sad deep deep down inside of him. I joked around with him, and sang some parts of songs during the times when neither of us were talking. I was comfortable around him, I was being myself.

"Alright, well now you have to head over to the ASB with me. Shall we?"
I smiled, excited for him to see where my favorite place of the school was.
He nodded. He seems to be ok with me too. We started talking about music and a lot of other topics while we were walking around, i introducing him to the campus.

We approached the gate of the ASB and I walked him in. His, who I guess brother and sister (because his eyes went big and he waved) already in there

"Hi Con!"
The girl waved to him. He waving back.

"Alright. I'll take over from here."
Jean smiled and assisted Connor further to get his Dance clothes and stuff.

At the end of the period, they were going to be send to go to their second period classes. I showed Connor where his was as well as his locker, he had english with me.

The bell rang and I grabbed my bag, threw it over my shoulder and I walked with Connor to class.

In English, he got in really well. Lucky him, there was an empty seat at my table so he sat diagonal from me.

All I could really think about at this point was who Ally and I could get to go to the dance with Joseph. Obviously it has to be another gay boy or else that would backfire on us.

I made a lot of friends in the lgbt society, but at this point I know that they are all either in relationships or don't see Joseph that way. What was I to do?

Ally's POV

Third period; this day is so slow. Today has been stressing me out. After that talk with Julie, all I have been thinking about was a boy for Joseph, but I just can't find anyone. Joseph is a great and amazing guy and be deserves the best.

"Julie! I heard that you got to show around a new guy at this school? How is he? What's he like? Is he cute?"
I got excited when I saw her.

"Oh. His name is Connor Franta and he is in our grade. His siblings go here and to the middle school and they moved here from Minnesota. Yes he is cute and vey nice."

"Anything special about him?"

"I know what you're thinking. No I don't know if he is gay or bi or pan or not. And I wouldn't feel comfortable with him being a new kid and being like "HEY ARE YOU GAY? BECAUSE I KNOW THE PERFECT GUY FOR YOU." That would be weird."

"Then befriend him fast!"

"I don't want to become friends with him just so I can find out something from him. He deserves better than that."

"Yeah... I guess. I'm sorry."

Connor's POV

Julie, I hope will be my friend here. I feel like making friends here will be a little hard. In the beginning of the school year, usually people try to stay with their group of friends from middle school and then later they experiment to make new friends. But it's already a month in...
Julie seems really nice and I want her to stick around. Hopefully she didn't guide me around just because she was forced to?

"So, Connor. Homecoming is in a month. See any cute girls around here?"
She laughed. I noticed that her hair seemed to have a little bit of red in it, like red velvet, but darker.

"Hmm... I don't know. Not any have really sparked my interest here."

"Hmm. There are really nice people here. Keep your mind open."

I introduced him to my group of friends. It mostly consisted of girls so I hope he doesn't mind. They were all very nice and welcoming to him, as he was to all of them. He sat there awkwardly but I could tell he was going to fit in fairly well.
