Dear Jade,
They say that your life flashes before your eyes when you die. And it did for me. But only the good bits. After I had seen my life replay, I saw a light. It was like when you were a kid, and you would have your door open just a tiny bit, so there was a slither of light in the terrifying darkness. I chose to open that door to see where it would go. If I would drop straight down. Or I would fly up. Someone told me once, that heaven is a safe place. One where you deserve to be and have earned the right to be there. Another person told me, that the place you belong is decided by the people around you. If you died then they'd say that you should fly high in heaven, or burn in the fiery pits of hell. I think it's a mix of both. Everyone believed that you belonged in heaven, and you deserved to be in heaven. You were my angel, and now you're back home. When people die, it's believed that angles will take them to heaven. That why when I was stood at the gate of Heaven, you were there to greet me.

It's an experience, dying that is. It's sounds weird, but it is. You're always told stories of what happens when you die. But you only know when it truly happens.
When I was lifted up, above the clouds and beyond, it reminded me of how I would look up, and hope you could see me. Wishing you had never left. But now I realise. It's natural.
It's taken me all my life to realise, that every tunnel has light at the end.
When I saw you standing there, at the gates to enter my new life. When I saw you it felt like new life had just been breathed into me, and that I needed to run straight to you and engulf you in the biggest hug. So I did. Thats when I I knew I was in heaven.
"Will," you said, "what are you doing here."
"I'm here to say hi and that I'll be staying for a while" was all I could say.
You laughed. I missed that so much. I missed her so much. I missed her blonde hair and loving blue eyes.
Then I realised "I'm home because I'm with you, Jade."
