Alexis's POV:
It was 8.43 and I had just came into school. As I glanced into the hallway I saw Cameron. He had not yet realised I was there but then he turned around. He smiled and gestured for me to come over.
I slowly walked over to Cameron who happened to be standing right next to my locker. " Hey Lexi, what's up " he embraced me with a warm hug. I smiled " Nothing really, I've been busy with a lot of schoolwork but how about you? ". " Argh, nothing haha, do you wanna walk to Biology? ". " Sure" I said
As we came into the class I say down in my seat and waited for my book to be given out. A dark blue textbook was lying on the table. I picked it up and browsed through it. On the inside cover there was loads of students doodles and as I read them I came across 2 names, a love heart and a date. Cameron ❤️ Amy 2014. Egh. Amy was the ' school whore ' and I hated her. I knew that her and Cameron had dated before but I didn't think it was serious. Anyway.
I took out a fresh black sharpie from my bag and blissfully crossed her name out and drew a thick, black, zig zag line inside the love heart. I felt so mischievous. Cameron whispered from the front table " Alexis, Lex! ". I looked up and he quietly said " Wait for me after school " and winked.
Cameron's POV:
I really wanted to hang out with Alexis after school. I wanted to get to know her more even though we have known each other for 7 years! Later I'm going to ask her if she wants to come to mine to catch up on class work we did in Biology. I've got pop tarts and frozen pizza at home and my parents are not home until 8.00 so we can chill out. Hope fully she will say yes!
Alexis is always positive and I that's why she's one of my best friends. I feel we have a connection.
After school
Alexis's POV:
I walked down the busy corridor to meet Cameron outside Math class. He was waiting there daydreaming so I came up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. " Hey Cam, haha wanna go then? " he smiled. " Sure, c'mon " he said.
As we walked to Cameron's house we walked past Dunkin Donut's. " I'm so hungry Lex, mind if we get a snack? " before I could answer be dragged me in and laughed. He sat down and Cam got a plain sugar donut. He asked if I wanted one but I resisted as I was trying to shed some pounds for summer!
20 minutes later
I glanced at my watch and realised it was 4.25. " Shit! I forgot! Freddie's mate is coming round for a sleepover and I've got to pick them up at 4.30 ". Cam stopped and looked at me. " We can make it, if we run! ". He grabbed my arm and stormed out of the shop tossing 4 dollars on the table. " Keep the change! " He screamed.
5 minutes later
We abruptly halted outside Fred's school and I saw him and Jake patiently waiting outside their class room. He saw us and ran over with Jake running behind him. He gave me a warm hug. He turned to Cam, "Hi Cam ". " Hey buddy! How was school?" Cam was so nice to Freddie and that's what I loved about him.
Cameron's POV:
I wanted Lex to feel like I cared more than I actually did. That sounds so bad but I didn't really feel as if I fit in with her family and that made me quite distressed. I'm just going to admit it, I'm in love with Alexis. Oh god I can't believe I've just said that...
I really did like Alexis, I felt we were literally made for each other. Every time I was with her I felt like nothing could go wrong. When she looked into my eyes, my whole world stopped and all I could think about is her beautiful personality and her aromatic facial features. Sorry I'm really getting into this but, agh I don't know.
