Today had started out pretty well. I'd been certain that the night before hadn't happened. That maybe Hannah had gotten me buzzed. If only that were the truth. I had decided to walk to work today. It was a nice walk past all the stores and flowers. I had felt good, and work kind of ruined the mood. The place I'll probably call hell for the rest of my life was about the same as always. "Good morning boss!" I said loudly as I walked into work on this fine morning. "Good morning Layla! I have a special job for you today, come here." with a quick stride to my least favorite person, the boss. The man that will pretty much ruin my life, but of course that comes later. "Layla, we have a new worker here today. I want you to show him the ropes, keep him out of trouble. He's in your office, good luck!" Of course I mockingly salutes my boss and replied,"Of course sir." I quickly walked away from my boss towards my office. The moment the door opens and look at the new employee I regretted coming to work that day. 

"Jackson!"

 "Layla??"

We yelled in harmony, "What are you doing here!" I tried to keep her temper in check as I said, "Well you just seem to be everywhere don't you?" 

Jackson shakes his head slightly and replies, "Layla, if I had known you worked here. I swear to you I wouldn't be here right now." 

"Whatever okay, let's just get to work." As I put my eyes on work, Jackson just stares at me with sadness in his eyes, and it honestly freaked me out. "Layla, I can go." 

"It doesn't matter anymore, nothing does Jackson." 

"Layla.."

"Stop, just stop Jackson! Don't you get it! I don't like you! You are not welcome here!!"

"Where is here?"

"I don't know anymore."

Jackson calmly looks at me with loving eyes as he says," Layla I can go."

My eyes dart up from work finding their way towards him," If you leave, you'll only prove my point."

"What point?"

"That you're a coward that only cares about himself!"

"Layla is this is about," I cut him off right there. "SHUT UP!!! You lied! You lied to the judge, your family, my family. You lied to me!"

"If you had been there you would understand!"

"Well I wasn't there was I! It doesn't matter. What I'm mad about is the fact that you could've saved Sky, but didn't! You chose to save yourself instead of my little sister!"
