In the past

"hey sky! What's up?" Jackson yelled to her across the  room. Sy walks quickly to him sliding into the booth in the corner of the cafe. She giggled as she said,"Nothing, what about you?" Jackson looks up at the ceiling, looks at Sky and says,"Just the ceiling." He gives her a playful grin. Sky continues to giggle as Layla comes up behind Jackson saying,"Liar." Jackson jumps in his seat, and quickly moves to make room for Layla. Jackson pretends to look confused as Layla continues to say,"Hush Jackson, everyone already knows. Why do you want it to be a secret?" Sky stares at both of them, confusion written on her face,"Do I want to know? Did you guys get drunk and hook up last night? Did you get arrested!" "NO!" Jackson and Layla yell, and then quickly end up in a fit of giggles. Jackson goes on to say,"No, Layla is just being weirder than normal." Layla laughs and sticks her tongue out in Jackson's direction. "Rude much, Layla?" "Pfttt, I'm not rude, I'm truthful. " Sky starts to laugh as their exchanges continue, she finally ends it and says,"Stop it!! I already know! Geez!" Jackson stares at her and simply says,"How did you know?" Sky again laughs and just replies,"It's so obvious!" Suddenly everything fades away, Sky, Jackson, Layla, the cafe, gone. We are now in Layla's home on the day Layla found out Jackson would be working with her. She's just gotten home from a tiring day at work. Her tears speak the words her heart cannot express, as she closes the door. She trudges to her closet. Next thing she knows she's in a big comfy sweater. The kind that make you feel like you can disappear. To disappear, it's all Layla wants right now. It's what her heart screams for as she says through her tears and sobs echoing off the walls,"I miss Sky." As she says those words, Jackson himself says,"Why does Layla blame me for losing Sky?"
