Chapter 6: Fastforward

Life is all about hard work, and that hard work means you need to invest time to create more improvements for yourself to achieve the goal you want. Even though sometimes the efforts become meaningless, shattered feelings and emotions. Having motivation to make you move forward will help you to do things impossible to possible.

Dropping of sweats, pantings and groans filled the room where the seven boys together with their three dance instructors worked harder than yesterday. They have a lot of things to catch up since some circumstances happened a few weeks ago.

It's the 23rd of January of 2013. The Christmas and New Year had passed. After spending time with their own family, they head back to Seoul after the 2nd day of January to train and train and train again for the nth time. They are so determined to do their best in their first appearance as a group.

It was around one in the morning when they finally went to their small cramped apartment. It was raining so hard makes the weather colder than it is. The water from the ceiling dropped on Namjoon's bed for his bed located on the top bunk.

"Namjoon, bring me a basin and a dry towel located in the top drawer." Namjoon signed and followed what Jin ordered. Everybody is sleepy yet they need to fix the disaster inside the apartment. For some people, they love rainy nights, but for them it is a curse. They can't sleep because of the holes in the roof which makes the small living room wet.

The agency doesn't have enough money to give them a bigger apartment. The musical equipment is securely stored on the other side of the room which is way safer.

Namjoon gave the basin and dry towel to Jin and started to revive Namjoon's bed.

"Hyung, I got bitten by a mosquito again." Jungkook with his small voice said while sitting at the corner of the room with Taehyung. Yoongi sighs and the ointment in the drawer.

"I'll ask eomma to buy one." Jungkook said when he noticed the small amount of paste came from the empty ointment.

Hoseok cleaned the living room and he makes sure to leave a basin in every spot where the water from the ceiling drops. Now that Namjoon's bed is still wet, one person needs to sacrifice his sleep.

"You can take my bed, I'll sleep with Jimin." Jin told their leader and Jimin didn't protest as he understood the situation.

"Let's be thankful that no one threw trash in front of the outdoor today." Hoseok sighs. Sometimes when they tiredly come home from practice, there is trash in front of their door and even some stones being thrown at them. We can say that the area they've been staying is not secure enough but they endure all of it patiently. It motivates them to make a debut sooner to get a better place to stay with.

Earlier that day, Bang Pd came to their apartment and brought a bunch of food. It's just 8 in the morning, since it's their rest day they wake up late.

"Namjoon-ah, open the door." Bang Pd keeps on knocking but since Namjoon is a heavy sleeper it was Taehyung who stands up and opens the door.

"Hi, good morning." Taehyung greeted with his eyes closed.

"Give me a hand." Bang Pd said and gives the takeout food and grocery bags to the younger.

"Where are the others?" The producer asked and opened the door then there he saw the six other members sleeping. Namjoon and Jungkook are snoring loudly while Hoseok covers his ears with the pillow.

"Guys wake up. I brought breakfast." He said and when Jin heard it he immediately woke up. Jimin followed the others.

"What brought you so early today?" It was Yoongi.

"Just because I'm happy." Bang pd smile widely.

The members look at him weirdly, it's not that they never see him smiling, but the way he smiles they know he's up to something.

"You look so weird, pd-nim." Yoongi commented.

"Well, I just saw this on youtube and it already made my day." The oldest of them takes out his phone and plays a video.

"You saw that too?" Jin asked.

"I just recently found this out, and guess what? I just gave her my business card. Her voice was so angelic and I wanted to train her." Bang pd said while smiling.

The video they've been watching is a girl playing archery, it was Armeija.

"I thought you wouldn't accept a trainee until things get better?" Namjoon commented. He decided to speak since the others were afraid to let out their opinions.

Mr. Bang didn't utter words and placed his phone back in his pocket.

"I already gave my card to her, all I need to do is to pursue her. I recently found out she's studying at Seoul International School." Bang pd said.

"Wow, Namjoon-hyung I bet she's smart just like you." Taehyung can't help but to admire his hyung.

"What are you going to do then?" Jin asked.

"I will tame her until she'll say yes." Bang pd smile.

"Were she able to live?" A question makes their world stop. They all know the company is broke.

"Let's not talk about that later. The important thing is we won't lose that talented girl." Bamg pd tried to lighten up the mood.

"Actually, I already met her with Taehyung. Her name is Armeija, an Australian." Bang pd widened his eyes when he heard what Jimin said. Then that's the time the two best friends shared every detail to Bang pd about what happened a month ago.

"She's an Australian,Bang Pd-nim. Will she be able to debut?" Hoseok loudly asked and the members didn't heared any reply.

"Okay, let's stop asking questions and dig into the food. Thank you, pd-nim." Jin breaks the awkward atmosphere by talking about food. Then the eight of them eating loudly inside the cramped apartment.

Later that day, the CEO keeps on waiting for a certain girl in the park where he met her. But she never comes, of course because Armeija is still in Switzerland celebrating her winter break with her family.

Bang pd wait and wait until many days, weeks and 3 months had passed he saw that person again. Walking casually on the sidewalk in front of Bighit building.

"Ammmmi!" He shouted loudly but Armeija didn't hear him. But he never gives up, Bang PD runs and stops in front of the person he's been calling.

"Sorry? Do I know you?" Bang pd's smile shattered when he saw the person.
