Chapter 2: Accident

Armeija was awakened by several phone calls she got. She got tired from busking and slept so late talking to his aunt over the phone. On the other hand, her class president becomes furious. The competition for archery will about to start but Armeija is nowhere to be found.

"Where is that freak?" the class president asked her two friends.

"I don't know, I haven't seen her in the cafeteria earlier," Lara replied, a Korean-American Student.

"Find her! Don't ever come back if she's not with you." Lara nodded and she left with Ara.

Right on time when the two left, their class adviser Ms.Son asking for Armieja because she hasn't seen her since morning.

"I'm sorry, Seonsaengnim. Lara and Ara are looking for her. I will make sure she'll attend." Ms. Son smiles while she replied.

" Thank You, Jae. 16 years old like Armieja makes me think about my teenage years. I sometimes don't follow my elders." Ms. Son said which makes Kim Jae upset in an unknown way.

"Oh, she's here," Jae said when she saw her friends dragging Armieja.

"Let me go I won't run," Armieja said when her arms hurt from being harsh of Lara and Ara.

"Great you're here. Break a leg Ms. Yelms. I heard you practice so hard yesterday afternoon since there's no vacant during the morning." The teacher said.

"Yes, Seonsaengnim. I don't know why Jae-eonnie wants me to be the representative since we have Jinhyung who knows archery better than me but still I'm thankful that I'm part of this competition." Armieja nervously replied.

"I'm rooting on you because I knew you can. You are one of the smartest students here on this campus. Anyways, I gotta go. Jae, take care of your dongsaeng." Jae nodded against her will and Ms. Son left.

"Are you happy? Ms. Son cherish you that much since the 1st day of school?" Jae crossed her arms on her chest.

"Calling all the participants for an archery competition. Please proceed to the court now. Requesting the students to settle down themselves." the student government president said.

"I know you can't win this battle. So be ready to be criticized later." Jae smirk and left with Lara and Ara to find a perfect spot to take a video of Armieja. So confident to themselves that at the end of the day, the 16-year-old innocent girl will go home with tears.

There are 16 participants lining up and went their respective positions, Armieja is in #11. Her hands were trembling while picking the bow and the arrow. A vivid memory started to replay in his mind.

Armieja's POV

A windy afternoon, I saw myself smiling while holding my bow and arrow. Then I saw my grandfather.

"Pops, look I hit 10 points again." the young version of me smiling widely to my Pops.

 Pops I miss you so much.

My grandfather clapped his hand and gives me a kiss on my cheeks. Then suddenly Nanna (grandmother) and Aunty called us for snacks.

"When you hear the gun firing you can start shooting the target." the announcement makes me go back to reality and when I touch my cheeks, I was crying. Later on, I heard the student laughing, specifically laughing at someone. Then I realized all eyes are on me, I look up then I saw myself on the screen. My heart skipped to the fact I need support.
