Silence Sat Between Them

- Spring Interhigh tournament -

Haela was peacefully sleeping, where the spring interhigh tournament was held. The young girl pulled an all-nighter the night before, and needed to catch up on sleep somewhere when Konoha came to wake her up.

"Haela! Wake up ~ the match is about to start"

She drastically opened her eyes, realising she has been dozing off for quite some time.

Panicked, she replied, "What? The match, it's already starting?! I'll be here in a second. You can go on ahead and get ready, thank you!"

"Alright"

Konoha exited her sleeping corner to go and join the other members.

Haela then rose from her seat while stretching her body. She was sleeping in quite an uncomfortable position and as a result, was left with a few sleeping marks. She proceeded to make her way towards the court.

She was still in her first year of highschool, and therefore was going to be the next manager of Fukurodani, as the current two third years managers would be gone by next year.

As she arrived, she made eye contact with Bokuto, causing a grin to appear on her face. He responded to her with a confident smile and a thumbs up, making her nod in approval.

The match proceeded smoothly and Fukurodani won without a problem. When the members got off the court, Bokuto called her name and opened his arms while making a cheeky face . Haela made a run for it and jumped straight into the ace's arms.

"Bokuto!"

"HEY HEY HEY!" He laughs, catching her, "How was it? Incredible, wasn't I?"

"Yes you were! You were so cool and your spikes were incredible, again today too!!"

Well, she's not wrong here, Akaashi thinks, watching Bokuto settling her back onto the ground.

Both of them gave each other a loud high-five. Haela went towards Akaashi, with both her hands in the air, and it took him a second to realize what she was asking for, belatedly giving her a high-five. Their little manager also made her way towards the rest of the members telling them how amazing they were. After a while, everyone went to watch Nekoma's match before heading back home and rest for the day.

As the match ended, Haela returned to her house. She lived quite close to where the team's hotel was and since she was short on money, she was allowed to stay in her home and meet up with everyone in the morning. That night, Haela was hiding under her covers. It was around 10 pm, when she took her phone and started to message Bokuto.

H: hey

B: what's up?

H: i don't think I'll be able to make it to tomorrow's match...

B: WHAAAAT?!

B: Why, how come? Did something happen at home?!?

H: I'm sorry...

B: I'll come and fetch you right now if I need to!!

H: You don't have to, you should concentrate on

your upcoming match, not on me.

H: Please tell  everyone that I'm not feeling well...

B: BUT!

B: I WON'T LET YOU STAY HOME

B: I WANT YOU TO COME TOMORROW!!!
