A.N.- Today is the day where this chapter finally gets posted and I am actually am so excited. Well in case your confused this chapter is actually a backgroud information chapter, thats why it takes place in 1995. Lets begin! : D

The base was falling apart, it was being torn apart. Cement and stone fell from the ceiling.

"They followed us, followed us back to our own time!" yelled Matthew, (he was the strongest of them all, and second in command).

His full name was Matthew Thomas. His power: super strength. He had a buzz cut,and he was a blonde with peircing brown eyes. He was built like a solider. The reason for his yelling was the fact that, with all the falling of cement, barely anything could be heard.

There was chaos, and the whole team found themselves hiding under a thick metal table. One in particular, had her head between her legs, and arms wrapped around knees, trying to stay calm. Her powers became more active when she was stressed, or scared. In this case, terrified. Her name was Monica Mitchell. She was smart in science. Her power: acid. Her hands would shoot and produce acid. Her hair was a midnight black, and in the shape of a bob, her eyes were a pale blue which contrasted with her light mocha skin color. Her whole body was shaking.

"Stop yelling," Monica said weakly, feeling her hands pulse.

"NO! WE NEED TO FIGHT!" Matthew yelled.

"Stop letting your body control your brain, what your thinking can turn things worse," explained Rose.

Rose Skidmore, was one of the smartest and she always thought before she spoke. She was also second in command. Her skill: seeing the future. This skill helped her to predict the outcome and be more wiser about decisions, but not always were her predictions correct. She already had a vision of what would happen if they fought back, a lot of people will die. She was a red-head with shoulder-length wavy hair, with freckles, light brown eyes, and pale skin.

"Yeah....she is right," panted their leader, Michael Ricken.

He was the leader because of his skill, tatics, and intelligence. But at the moment, his body wasn't responding as much. He was losing a lot of blood, who wouldn't though when being shot on the left side. His grey shirt was soaked in blood and so were his dark black jeans. There was a puddle of blood soaking his Toms now. His power: mind control. He could make you see what he wanted you to see, and do what he wanted you to do. He was also a red-head, but his hair was in a quiff, he had grey eyes and usually had a care-free expression, but not today. His hands were shaking, and his once light olive skin color was becoming pale by the second.

"Stop talking, you need to rest," said Lotus.

Lotus Rain, was her name, and she had a special place in Michael's heart. They were supposed to be married today, but now they couldn't. They were to busy trying to save the world's past, present, and future. She pressed her pale hands on Michael's side, and a white light glowed. Her power: healing. She could heal anything, but she couldn't always save everything. And Michael couldn't be saved. Her hair was white like the glow from her hands, her hair was all the way to her lower back, and she had bright blue eyes. Her once blue dress was becoming soaked with blood too.

Matthew scoffed, he knew Michael wouldn't make it. He was smacked in the back of his head and met with a glare by his older brother, Phill Thomas. Unlike his little brother, who was usually cold and rude, Phill was happy-go-lucky and was laid back. But Phill couldn't smile even if he wanted too. Unlike his younger brother, he had shaggy blonde hair, that would get in his face and soft brown eyes. He was also a bit darker than his brother in skin color. His power: force fields and iron hands. He could create force fields, and had the power to turn his hands into iron for a harder punch. He was also built like a soilder, but was 6'5, while Matthew was 6'3.
