chapter 1

Ahleea weekes

*present day*

I sat at my desks counting the stack of money Shaun just brung in. The door busted open making me jump, i looked up quickly infuriated to see Jade; my sister standing there with a blank face. Quickly wiping off the mug on my face i got up to see what was wrong.

"what's a wrong?" i said in my Caribbean accent walking up to her.

"he left."

"what happened?"

"in two-twos, he left with anotha bitch." with that i quickly rushed to my desk slamming my laptop closed. I was tired of Marlo's shit, and I was tired of Jade tolerating it. Opening my  drawer i pulled out my hand gun stuffing it in my thigh strap.

"i'll be back. wait here.." i said walking out, she grabbed my hand stopping me.

"go! .......... mothafucka" was all i heard her say. Shaking my head I made my way out the trap house to find Shaun and Koko smoking a blunt. 

"I'll be back watch the trap!" I said getting into my SUV

"gotchu boss, hey Jade" Koko said smiling as she looked Jade up and down.

"she want you, baby"

"she's a wicker" Koko was a stud, a cute ass stud and i guess Jade wasn't down for that.

I pulled up to Marlo's trap house getting out my SUV. Marlo was one dumb muthafucker, always leaving his door open. Now if he gets robbed one day he bet' not get mad. His trap was dirty as hell too, ain't no way i'm keeping my money and my shit where rats lay they heads at. That's fucked up, I opened the door going up his wobbly steps with Jade behind me. I quickly pulled out the gun I stored in my thigh strap peeking through the slightly opened door. I kicked it open to find Marlo on the floor nearly dead, with another girl next to him. Quickly running towards him I checked for his pulse. He was hardly breathing and there was blood everywhere. I looked back to see Jade just standing there.

"Jade!! are you dumb?! get the car!" there was no way we could call the police, we would just be leading Marlo to jail time. One of Marlo's workers came in seconds after Jade went to the car.

"What happened?!"

"Pick him the fuck up and take him to the car!!" I quickly brushed myself off taking a quick look around his trap to see if anything was out of place. I rubbed my temples in fustration as I looked around to see everything in a mess, with money scattered everywhere.

"fuck, Marlo" i cursed walking out the trap and getting into the car.

I sat in my living room 7 weeks later with a paranoid sister.

"so tell me why you're so scared about Marlo coming home?" I raised an eyebrow as I scanned through the channels.

"I fucked up, Lee. real bad I can't explain but I really fucked up!!" I closed my eyes for second quickly getting up.

"Please, please don't tell me you hurt Marlo in any type of way shape or form?!" She bit her lip making me walk towards her.

"Jade! do not make me repeat myself! what happened?!"

"I went crazy, Lee. I found him there with another girl and I blacked out."

"I don't think you understand what he can do, how powerful he is. he can destroy- my kingdom!" I screamed sprinting outside and hopping into my SUV. I bit my bottom lip hoping and praying Marlo didn't touch my beauty, my baby. I pulled up in front of the trap taking off inside, I gasped seeing blood everywhere. My money, all gone. Dope, gone. I huffed livid stomping up the stairs to see a figure it was Koko.

"Koko, getcho fucking ass up" I said busting into my office that was now all messed up and trashed.

"boss, they on some real hood shit. Came in here and fucked everybody up, I ducked and ran to the back. They got Shaun's ass, and Jamal"

"Fuck!" I screamed taking a jab at my glass window that displayed the foggy air and Jade's car pulling up.

"Why they do this, boss? we was all homies!"

"get me a blunt" I said calmly watching the blood drip slowly down to the floor.

"I think you need a band-aid, boss. not a blunt" I closed my eyes breathing in and out before I snapped and went crazy.

hey i think this chapter sucks :( i'm gonna take my time on this story bc i want it to be perfecto!! but yeah. summer is approaching so i will be putting more work into these books. Sorry for the wait tho!
