„Do you think I'll ever leave you alone again?"

He sat there for days.

Literally days now, hearing the beeping right in his ears.

His mom came in the room once a day just to check on him and bring him food so he wouldn't completely starve.

She was wondering how he couldn't go insane by just staying in the room, staring at nothing and being broken and worried the whole time.

It was a nightmare to see her son like this everyday, knowing that she couldnt help.

After the ninth time she visited him, things suddenly started to change.

The rythme of the beeping changed and the boy instantly pressed in the emergency button.

Only a few seconds later the first people arrived to help him and asked what was wrong. He stood straight up in the room, staring at the pale face and explained to the doctors that the sound changed and he could swear that he saw something move.

His eyes begun to shine as the doctor smiled and nodded, looking at the machines.

He understood what he was trying to say. He was safe now. He would wake up and everything would be fine now.

A few tears escaped his eyes as more and more people entered the room, letting they're gaze run through the room and stopping at his face, smiling bright.

They knew how bad the past few days have been for him and were probably happy for the guy that the worse part was over now.

His heart stopped beating for a few seconds, as he looked in a pair of beautiful brown eyes that slowly opened and looked around in confusion.

„Oh my god"

You could hear him whisper as his jaw dropped.

The persons eyes slowly focused him and he opened his mouth trying to say something but he just caughted.

Dream fell onto his knees, grabbing George's hand while tears started to drop more and more

„I'm here Georgie don't say anything I'm here ist fine breath I'm here" he pressed his hand and slowly saw how George's eyes got filled with tears as well.

„Don't cry my love it's alright" Dream didn't care about the doctors standing behind him and watching. All he wanted to do right now was kissing his boyfriend.

George opened his mouth again „Dream?"

He whispered „Y- you- r a" he stuttered while dream looked at him smiling bright tears still rolling down his cheek „a alive?"

Dream nodded heavily

„I am I am why would you think I'm dead Georgie? Wait no don't answer Rest yourself okay stay calm I'll try to explain" the taller one softly laid his hand on George's cheek

„The accident you know car crash and stuff? The driver that crashed us was drunk and you noticed the car so early that you tried to protect me by throwing yourself on me and it worked. We protected each other an-"

„No you protected me and I woke up and you were dead" George explained completely confused and shivering, tearing up only by thinking of the nightmare he lived in the past 13 days.

„Oh my god that makes sense" Dream said, turning his head to the doctor wich nodded and then raised his voice.

„Mr. Davidson you where in coma for nearly two weeks now and we noticed something weird going on. You probably had a very long lasting nightmare and your head changed the information. Your boyfriend sat next to you since nine days now because he said he couldn't leave and before that we needed to help him too. That you both survived is literally a historical moment and in theory not even possible, but besides a few broken bones, burnings and trauma there's nothing"

Clay nodded fascinated at George who laid in the same position like the last two weeks with an open mouth.

„I dreamed all that?"

Dream nodded again as George really started to cry „You don't know how painful this was you left me and and I I you y- you drowned me an-"

„George!" Dream said, carefully pulling him in his direction with his arms wrapped around him „Oh George you can't believe how happy I am to have you back I was so god damn worried. And I would never leave you alone I promised that. It's okay"

George shivered as Dream did as they both held each other, crying because of happiness

„I can't believe I have you back. I thought you were dead" George cried one last time before he looked up to Dream and tasted salty water on his lips when he kissed him.

Not even a deadly car crash could separate them from each other

„Ready when you are" Dream said, holding George's arm „okay. One... two aaaand three"

George stood up, grabbing his boyfriends arm immediatly because he couldnt hold himself

„Wow that's pretty good for the second try" Dream said proud and George nodded. Since he woke up a few days had passed and George wanted to get back to his normal life as soon as possible.

It was the same for Clay.

Both had some injuries, but could still help each other getting their normal life back.

Dreams biggest problems were two broken ribs and a broken arm, together with a lot of burned skin wich hurted everytime he moved but he had medicine so it was okay.

George's main problem was that he wasn't really able to walk anymore. The doctor said that he would be able to walk again someday, but couldn't say when. Moreover his whole back was burned from the fire that burned the car down.

„You're already doing so great George. I can't believe that they'll let you fly home in a few days. Home like back to your mom because of corona they only fly emergency's over so your mom couldn't get here but we both can go there soon"

Clay smiled.

„Wait we both?" George asked confused „Of course" Dream laughed „Do you think I'll ever leave you alone again? I've already talked to your mom and she said that there's not a big problem with it and she's sure that she couldn't handle everything on her own."

„Dream you're hurt too and I mean I'm happy that you will come with me but I don't want you to-"

„I'm doing this for you and me alright? I can't imagine something more beautiful and romantic than us two getting healthy together" he laughed and George just smiled at him.

Their gazes told each other something that words couldn't express in that Moment.

They knew they would stay together forever
