Hello everyone, to whomever reads this.

I'm Suranne, and I was born in England but when I was 6 years of age, moved to the Highlands of Scotland.
Through the years, I've gathered the love of the outdoors and walking, I do most of my walks with a family friend, who I call Aunt.

I do a lot of camping and walking, what I call 'proper' camping.

I'm in no way promoting and sharing some of the places I go and show here, especially if they're not popular. Here in the Highlands we get tons of tourists (not all of them are bad, promise) ruin and damage the land and litter everywhere and put their waste in places where it shouldn't be put.
As a local myself, and others here, we absolutely do not like it.

With the right to roam, they think they can go ANYWHERE, but there are certain places you actually cannot go, like someone's garden, private land if a public path/walk doesn't goes through it, etc...
So please, if you have rubbish, take it back out with you and put it in a bin and not the side of a road. I'm not blaming everyone, just saying something important to those who do this.

I LOVE the Highlands and everything about it and love that people come here for their holidays and enjoy the country too, but please to reck anything or ruin places, its disappointing and we will end up losing the right to roam.  There are so many history sites that tourist like to "camp" around and dump their waste and rubbish in.

A few weeks ago, we we're going on a ride around to go on a walk, and went to an old castle, saw people in a tent beside it, which is breaking the law in that sense as it is a historic site, protected as well, and they came from Southampton. Under lockdown.  Breaking England's lockdown rules and Scotland's too. We reported them and the police only sent them on their way apparently and then camped somewhere else and now are facing their consequences. So please, when lockdown comes down, don't camp at historic or any sites, near the road or leave your litter.
Oh, and don't do a campfire just for your own pleasure, it damages the ground and the nicer weather is coming in. You don't need them. If you get tents, make sure you actually take them back home with you.

I'm a 17 year old child, I'm a minor and I know better than most of the adults that I've known to do this.

P.S, I hate the idea of the NC500 and what they promote. I do not support it & absolutely hate it.
