The Letter

Rosé's POV

Lisa: you are not asleep yet?

She asked as she sit beside me.

Rosé: I'm waiting for you, babe.

I said smiling.

Lisa: awee you sounds so cute when you call me babe.

Rosé: what? When I call you Lisa it's not cute?

Lisa: aweee baby I'm just joking.

She said giggling.

Lisa: ohh! I almost forget. Wait!

She said and went outside. I looked at my phone.

Rosé: oh it's already 11pm. Time flies fast.

Lisa came in with a letter in her hand.

Rosé: what's that?

Lisa: the letter mom gave me.

Rosé: you wanna read it now?

Lisa: yes, with you by my side.

She said, sit down next to me. We both rested our back on the headboard. Lisa opened the letter, started to reading. I stared at her coz I don't want to disturb her. After a few minutes later I saw Lisa started to tearing up. What is in the letter?

Rosé: Lisa are you okay?

I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. She hugged my waist and started to cry.

Rosé: why?

She didn't said anything, hugged me more tighter, keep on crying. I caressing her back, kissing her forehead.

Lisa: d-dad..

She mumbled while sobbing.

Rosé: ssh... babe stop crying.

Lisa: here read this.

She handed me the letter. I read it, it says her dad was suffering for leukemia.

Lisa: mom... didn't told me about it... she said dad was died in am accident.

Rosé: maybe she had reason... now don't cry please... it hurts me to seeing you cry.

I hold her hand tightly.

Lisa: can I call her now? I wanna know why.

Rosé: not now. She must be sleeping. Call her tomorrow.

She nodded, place the letter in the drawer.

Lisa: thank you for everything Rosie... I love you so much.

She kissed my forehead, smiling.

Rosé: that's my girl. Don't ever cry okay. I'm by your side always.

I caressed her hand.

Lisa: aishh I'm feeling like a crybaby now.

She wiped her tears, laughing.

Rosé: Lisa its okay to cry. Sometimes cry makes people less stressed.

I patted her back.

Lisa: this is why I love you so much.

She pecked my lips as I giggled.

Rosé: you okay now?

Lisa: yes... let's go to sleep.

She said, pulling the blanket over us. We lay down on the bed, I snuggled closer to her.

Lisa: good night baby... sweet dreams.

She wrapped her arms around me.

Rosé: good night, babe.

I put my head on her chest before drifting in sleep.

Next morning

I woke up and found Lisais still sleeping next to me. Suddenly my stomach grumbled.

Rosé: aishh I'm hungry.

I got up from my bed, went to the bathroom and did my morning routine. Then go to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and saw Lisa's leftover birthday cake. I was craving for sweet so I take out the cake.

Rosé: never in my whole life ever I ate sweet in the morning but baby for you I'll eat it.

I said looking at my tummy. I felt arms wrapped around my waist.

Lisa: good morning babe.

She whispered in my ear.

Rosé: ohh good morning Lisa!

Lisa: I heard you talking to our baby... I wanna talk to her too.

Rosé: how can you said that it 'her'? We don't know the gender yet.

Lisa: it's just my instincts.

She said kissing my nape.

Lis: oh! Let's go out to buy stuffs for our baby!

She said excitedly.

Rosé: ayeee it's still early.... we will go a few hours later okay.

Lisa pouted looking at me cutely.

Rosé: aishhh ok ok... we will go after our breakfast.

Lisa: yeheyyyy!!! You are the best! I'll go take a shower now!

She practically run to our room. Why is she so cute!?

I was waiting for her. She come back with a sad face.

Rosé: what's wrong ?

Lisa: I asked mom why did she hide it from me. She said she promised to dad that she will not say anything to me.

Rosé: it's okay babe... your father is in a better place now. I'm sore if he see you cry, he would be sad.

Lisa: yeah you are right.

We finished our breakfast then I dressed up then we get into the car. She decided to eat breakfast outside. After a few minutes of driving, we arrived at a beautiful restaurant.

Lisa: let's go.

We entered into the restaurant. Take a table by the window we waited for the waiter to come.

A waiter name Kim Taehyung came.

Taehyung: welcome Lisa! Long time no see. I heard from Jennie that you got married and also your wife is pregnant.

He said showing her boxy smile. He is so handsome. How did he knows about Jennie?

Lisa: yap yap. This is my wife Rosé.

She introduced me.

Taehyung: congratulations both of you! By the  way I'm Jennie's big bro.

After like 40 minutes later we went to the mall to buy things for our baby. We were shopping until we met....
