"What is this" He took out the jar of my healing gel

"Um why are you asking me" I gulped
"So you harassing poor Rosie downstairs about a jar isn't gonna make me question you about this" he pointed to the jar
I opened my mouth then closed it. He had me in a tough spot, to be honest.
"Why do you have healing gel Allura" He sternly asked
I looked side to side to see if anyone was in the hallway. Once I saw that no one was there I grabbed his arm and went into the bathroom.
"Now don't get mad or go rushing to the twins or Kai. Especially Kai"
He furrowed his brows and continued to stare at me. I sighed and pulled up my shirt to show him the bruise. He stared at it for a minute not changing his expression. He then closed his eyes and inhaled sharply holding in his breath for a while. He then eventually exhaled and opened his eyes again.
"May I" He put his hand out to touch. I hesitantly nodded and he placed his hand lightly on my side and I didn't react. He grabbed it and pushed his hand away cringing. He stayed where he was without looking at me.
"Who did this to you"
"S-Stan" I stuttered.
"How long"
"What" I furrowed my brows
"How. Fucking. Long Allura?"
"....Abo-out 2 y-years"
"Y-Years" He stuttered tapping his foot eagerly
"Please A-Avery, d-don't tell Kai" I grabbed his arm pleading
He looked down at me with fire in his eyes. Avery may seem sweet and loving when you first meet him but in reality, he is actually a very angry person. He learned to conceal his anger after a situation that had taken place when I was just about 8 years old. I don't remember what it was cause I was fairly young but ever since then, he has just been calmer. Now, it takes a lot to get under Avery's skin. After a while, he softened his face and looked at my face. He bent down a little and pulled me into a tight hug. I winced a little and he noticed so he loosed his hold on me a little.
"I won't tell him but Allura if he does that or tries it again with you... I am going to have to tell Kai" He warned. I nodded and felt tears fall down my cheek. He wiped my tears with his thumb and pulled me into another hug. I sobbed into his shoulder for a while until we heard someone knock on the door.
"Is everything alright in there?" Percy asked
We both looked towards the door and neither of us said anything for a second.
"Oh it's all good she just hit her foot and it hurt really badly" Avery answered for me
"Oh okay, well hurry up then" Percy walked off
Avery turned to me and gave me a small smile, he took out the jar and told me to pull up my shirt. He put the gel on the bruise but soon stopped and smelt it. I scrunched up my nose at him.
