12/29/20 -an attempt

Today I went through with my first attempt to shift. Although, I may have done it in a way that is uncommon. I combined the Sunni method and the Raven method with music. First you need to have a brief understanding of the two.

Sunni: You close your eyes, and focus on what you wish to shift to. Try simple things, like what will your room look like? How will you look in the mirror? What will your schedule be? Who will you interact with? You can also focus on what you feel, like if you are laying in bed imagine laying in the bed that is in the timeline you wish to shift to. You will eventually fall asleep, and wake up in the shifted world. Remember; the world you shift into is only limited by your imagination.

Raven: Lay with your eyes closed in a 'star' position. Your head being the top, your outstretched arms the side points, and your slightly outstretched legs being the bottom points. As you lay there, think of what you wish to shift and count to 100 slowly, giving yourself an affirmation like 'i am shifting now' every ten counts. Some people tend to use only one affirmation the whole time, but you can use different ones. Continue till you fall asleep, like with Sunni.

And so, I attempted to combine the methods for my first shift.

I took my favorite music box and played it,music having always helped me keep a clear head and to improve my focus. I sat next to my on my rug, my back against the wall. one of my feet was slightly touching the wooden side of the bed. I closed my eyes and let the music clear my head. I proceeded to think about what I wanted with the shift. I counted to 100 slowly, telling myself 'I am shifting' every ten. I focused on how the rug felt under me, how the wall felt. I thought of how I wanted them to feel, what I and the room would look like. It is common for you to start shaking during a shift, and when I shook a little I tried not to get too excited to stay calm. At a point I couldn't feel the bed against my foot since the bad wasn't there in my desired shift. The floor even felt a little different. I was almost to a hundred by now, knowing that my music were to stop at the right time due to the amount of winds. I started to get excited again, and continued on. But my surroundings were a bit too distracting, despite the music having blotted out almost all background noise. So, when i finished the count and the music stopped, although I hadn't fallen asleep, to my dismay the background noises being too much. All the sensations that had been were gone by now, and I could feel the bed. While this had been a failed attempt to shift I managed to learn a little. It is good to rid yourself of distractions, and It was alright since this was merely my first time. I intend to try again tonight and hope for a different awakening in the morning. Till then, I wish you luck.
