I pulled on my chest binder, some clean boxers, and some pants, waiting for my mom to try and wake me up. It was my birthday, and the first day at my seventh school this year.

I sat on my bed, lost in thought. I was trying my hardest to keep the memmories at bay, but I had been through sixteen schools sense I turned 15, because every time I made a friend, they died in my arms sometime in the year.

Then my thoughts skipped to my dead girlfriend. It was two years ago. I had just turned sixteen and had made it through most of the year without someone dying. But thats when stuff was getting worse. Someone had broken into my house and killed my little brother. I was asleep, and I couldnt protect him.

A knock on my door brought me back to reality, and I knew that it was my mom.

"Dylan are you up?" She called today hrough my door.

"Yea ma. Ill be down in a second. Just gotta find a new shirt." I called back.

I heard her footsteps echo through the hall down to my older brothers room, and he was already awake because his music was off.

I threw on a clean shirt the said sk8er boi on it, and went downstairs. I sat on the right hand side of the head of the tabel, and I always ate before or after my family, Because I didnt lile looking into the eyes of other people. When I did, I saw the day they died. There was never anyone in my life that I coupdnt see die. I knew that there must be someone out there that I could look into there eyes and actually see them. I wanted to fall for someone with bright blue eyes. Someone that didnt care about what I saw in other people. But I knew that would never uappen because everyone had to die sometime.

I ate some cearel and ran out to the bus stop. By the time I got there the bus was just pulling up. I grabbed a seat in the front, and right before he bus pulled out, a girl came running up the stairs. She sat next to me and pulled her backpack off. When she looked at me I tried not to look her in the eyes, but when I did I didnt see anything. She had grey eyes, and a bright smile.

"Hi. Im Dylan." She said, holding her hand out.

I took her hand, still in shock that I could see her eyes, only minutes after I wished for someone I could, and introduced myself.

"My name is Dylan as well." I didnt know what else to say.

"Can I see you class schedule?" She asked politely.

When I handed it to her she laughed and handed it back.

"You have every single class with me.

This was going to be an interesting year.
