you tried to shrug off your nervousness as you went out around 25 minutes early, to be able to walk to the park early. as you arrived about 10 minutes early, you sat down on a bench inside the park, looking around at the scenery.

the plant placement around the park was beautiful, with ivy lacing around a gazebo in the middle of the park. roses were on either side of the bench, and around the other benches through the park.

you pulled your phone out of your pocket and checked the time. 3:20.

'should be here soon..' you muttered to herself. you clicked open your phone and went to twitter, awaiting your friends arrival.

schlatt pov

schlatt was walking down the street, leaving Carsons street and heading down the block where the park was. he was nervous, that was an understatement.

he didn't want to mess up like he did before, that would end everything.

"don't fuck up things again, dickhead.." he whispered to himself, checking his watch for the time..

3:25.

"oh shit-"

he walked a bit faster down the last block, heading into the far entrance of the park. once entering the park, he looked around, looking at the benches around the park.

he noticed how well trimmed the plants were, surprisingly clean for a public park.

a beautiful white gazebo rested in the middle of park, that brings it together perfectly.

schlatt stood there for a few seconds, just admiring the view of the park he had at the moment.

he started to walk forward, going to look for y/n.

he shuffled his hoodie up a little bit as he heard someone clearing their throat.

"ahem, asshole." he heard a familiar voice call.

he had only taken a few steps out from the entrance of the park, so he turned, seeing a bench next to the entrance he had walked right by.

his gaze landed on the person sitting there, he recognized.

he turned, saying, "y/n."
