Chapter 4

Andy P.O.V

Seeing Jess collide with the ground unconscious was like a wake up call. I ran to her and seen she was seriously injured. I looked up and seen the registration on the back of the car.

CNK 2130

I checked her pulse and found she was alive. I took my phone from my pocket and dialled 911

"Hello? What's your emergency?" 

"My friend has been hit by a car. She's in pretty bad shape" 

"Please stay calm. What's yours and your friend's name?"

"I'm Andrew Biersack and my Friend is Jessica Dunne" 

I gave her the address and hung up. I screamed for Jake and Ashley to help me get Jess off the road. I didn't know if I could lift her alone. She's heavy and I'm afraid I'd hurt her. 

They ran out and helped me get her off the road. I took her cheeks in my hands and looked at her lying there unconscious. 

"Andy. Is the ambulance on the way?" Ashley asked. I nodded and pulled her close to me. She's so cold.

"She's freezing. Oh God no!" I said and lay her out again. I checked her pulse and found it was slower.

I heard sirens and an ambulance speeded around the corner.

Two paramedics ran to us.

"Only one can come with her. Who'll be coming?" Asked a paramedic.

Everyone looked at me. I raised my hand and I helped them get her in the ambulance.

~2 Hour Later~

I was beside the bed in the room. Jess had been through surgery to remove glass from her side that had gone deep into her skin. She had three fractured ribs, a broken foot, a concussion, a lot of stitches all over her body. 

Violet and the guys walked in. Violet looked really upset, CC was holding her close to him.

"H-How is she?" Violet asked. I didn't know what to say to her.

They're best friends!

"She's stable but, we don't know when she'll wake up. She hit her head off the road pretty hard" I said and began to play with her fingers. She'd usually laugh when I do this.

"S-Stop" I heard a faint voice say. I looked up and seen Jess had woken up. I seen her smile weakly. I laughed and hugged her. She winced but hugged me back.

"JESSIE!" Violet  screamed and hugged her. Woah! Violet hugged someone?!

"W-What happened?" She asked. I told her everything and she nodded. After a while Violet had to leave for school. CC drove her. Jinxx had to go home and Ashley stayed with me and Jess.

I'm on the bed and she's hugging me as she sleeps. I keep smiling down on her.

"Dude, what's going on with you two?" Ash asked.

"Nothing. Why?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders. I flipped him off and kissed Jess' head.

"N-No. Listen to Andy. Put the razor down" Jess said in her sleep.

Ash and I looked at each other with widened eyes. I checked her arms and.  Found a number of cuts. Were these self inflicted? She promised me she wouldn't do it anymore!

"No Jess. No!" I pulled her closer to me and kissed her head. After a while of Ash and I talking, I seen Jess raise her head from my chest.

"Whats up?" She asked sleepily. I pulled her sleeves up and showed her. She frowned.

"I-I'm sorry" she said. I looked to Ashley. He nodded.

"I have to go, Violet and CC might need to be broken up. They're constantly fighting"

Jess nodded and put her arms out to him. He hugged her very carefully and left.

"Why?" I asked. She frowned and played with her hands.

"N-No one cares. Everyone hates me. I'm failing my classes because I'm constantly being kicked around before I get there. The slashes on my stomach aren't my doing" she explains. I nodded and kissed her head.

She soon fell asleep in my arms crying her eyes out. I hated to see her like this. I need to talk to Violet. I may need her help.
