[ Chise's POV: ]

It was a warm day outside, the sun was shining brightly and the wind flowed through the trees as if it was nature's music.

I sighed softly as I stared out the window thinking about everything over, so much time has passed without Elias in the picture...and yet I still found myself picking off were we left off, it wasn't like meeting a old friend at all. It was...strange. We just collided together, starting where we left off and we were filled with bliss as we once were before.

I walked outside on my balcony as I started to water the plants, watching as the water poured down and hydrated the plants as the sun poured down from the clouds in the sky. "It's 11:00...He should be here." I mumbled softly as I closed my eyes. It was a perfect Saturday, I recently asked Elias if he'd like to come over to my house but even though I knew he might not have cared about the looks of it, my stomach said otherwise. It was practically doing flips and butterflies poured from it. I was so nervous. "Don't be so nervous." I muttered to myself as I clenched onto the bottom of my shirt, soon going to clean up the place, quickly doing last minute cleaning just to make sure it was right.

Suddenly I heard a knock on the door. I perked up as I smoothed my red strands of hair back as I pushed them into a ponytail, my hair has grown quite a lot now that I thought about it. I heavily sighed before walking over to the door, opening it up after a moment to see a familiar face at the same time it was different. A tall delinquent, his hair being a mix of black and white and his eyes a odd grey color as he stared down into my green eyes. Elias was quite different now, but at least he didn't look fake anymore. I bit my lip nervously as my hands fidgeted in front of me. "My greatest apologies for being late Chise..." He leaned over as his hand cupped under my chin, it was warm and a familiar touch. Only his hands were a bit more smaller than the ones I was use to.   "How are your emotions then on this evening...?" He questioned, his grey eyes danced as they studied my movements, he was still the same and as curious as ever. "Emotions?" I repeated, staring into his eyes as I fixed back my hair. "Of course. You seem to have an odd expression now, and your movements seem different...Are your emotions different now?" He walks inside as he then closed the door, placing his wand aside into a umbrella stand nearby the door. "Oh. Right. I keep on forgetting that you still aren't fully knowing on emotions...due to your new look." I muttered softly, studying him. "I suppose what I'm feeling at the moment...is...confounded." I replied, dusting off my skirt a bit. "Confounded?" He questioned with his same confused look as usual on his face, only without the skull. I softly giggled under my breath. "Confounded, it is when you feel...unusual in the very least...similar to being surprised, however different in a way. It's more when your surprised and questioning yourself or anything around you." I explained, watching as his eyes changed with interest, and a bit of his expression as well; He still hard to see through however his eyes still always show his truth.

"I...umm...I made some tea--I wasn't able to make much of snacks though." I mumbled as I looked down, He simply chuckled as he stroked the top of my head like I was a pet. "It is alright, Would you like me to assist?" I froze as I remembered what Silky said as he was walking over to the kitchen. I quickly rushed over and threw my hands out. "Nono!--It's perfectly fine I promise!" I did NOT want to find out how Elias could cook, I just cleaned up my kitchen anyways, yes. perfect an excuse! "I--I just cleaned up Elias, I wouldn't want to dirty up the kitchen of course..." I spoke up as I stared up at the confused Delinquent. "Very well, I will clean up afterwards." He walks over into the kitchen as he patted my head again. "--...Oh no..." I muttered as I sighed.

An Hour Later...

I looked at the...remnants of a creature on my plate as I tried to then pick up my fork, it hit the food with a squelch as I tried not to squirm or twitch, forcing myself to smile. "Wow-Elias...this look...great."
"Why thank you, I believe I followed the recipe for sandwiches well...although I decided to add something more for you." He replies, his lips curving up a bit into a smile as his eyes practically shined with pride. Why did I force myself to do these things; And why does he look so cute?! I argued with myself as I then lifted up the fork to my mouth after cutting into it and quickly put it in my mouth.

The sun was now starting to set as I laid back in bed in pain. I heavily groaned in pain. "Ugh--My stomach..." I mumbled as I clung to the cover. Elias stayed nearby my side as he tried to rub my back, trying to soothe my pain. The food wasn't worth it but at least Elias is here, and I have to admit his hands are quite good at soothing the pain.

"I apologize Chise. I must have put too much pepper and oyster sauce..." He apologized yet again as he leaned closer, his hand gently smoothing my hair back behind my cheek. "Do forgive me..." he muttered softly as he stared at me with his worried filled grey eyes. "My body feels so...weak now, and my heart feels like its sinking along with my body...why is that?"

I softly smiled at his question as I lifted my hands up to his face. "You're worried. It's similar to being sad." I replied, staring deeply into his eyes.

"I'll stay with you then. Maybe it may cure my feeling." He softly spoke before then moving over and laying down beside me.

I laid my head against his chest, he had a more cooler feeling but maybe that was just because the room was darker. I closed my eyes with a soft nod as I started to drift to sleep

It was a few hours in my sleep that I heard a slight groan from Elias, my body now feeling a bit better, I started to wake up. I turned over to look at my phone; it was 12:01. I then turned over to check on Elias but then when I saw him I froze.

His hands were now larger as well as his body, his height was staggering and his skin seemed to be a purplish color. His eyes were grey and his outer whites were black...and replacing his face was a skull.

and replacing his face was a skull
