Dark. That's what i saw as i looked around the room. Darkness. Little whispers. "Hello?" I called out into the darkness. Nothing. Then, a pair of glowing eyes emerged from the darkness. Yellow eyes. The eyes moved closer and closer. A hand reached out and tried to grab me...
I woke up in a cold sweat. I was scared for my life. I looked at the clock on my bedside table. It read 6:00 am. "Time to get up," I said unenthusiastically. I grabbed a pair of skinny jeans, and a black ACDC shirt and headed into my bathroom to change. I brushed out my hair and put it into a high ponytail with my favorite black scrunchie. I put on a little mascara and headed out of the bathroom. I grabbed my favorite pair of vans, my dark green old skool ones.
I grabbed my backpack and walked downstairs. I grabbed a piece a bread and popped into toaster. I heard the toast pop up after about 30 seconds. I took the toast and put butter on it. I ate it slowly, because today was the last day of school so I was in no rush. "God morning, mom," I said to my mom as she walked down the stairs. She looked tired. She was already prepared for work. She worked as a car mechanic. "Hurry so we can leave," she said. My mom drives me to school.
After i finished the toast me and my mom walked to her car. On the way to school we were both usually quiet the whole drive. But today mom was extra talkative.
"Are you exited for summer?" She asked. "I guess," i said "i don't really have anybody to hang out with," i continued. "What about Beverly?" "I don't know," i replied putting my chin in my hand.
The rest of was silent. Then we pulled up to school. "Bye, mom," i said while opening the car door and closing quickly. I made sure i grabbed my backpack and walked towards the school, ready to be done with it for three months.
