My hand started shaking as the screen went blank and everyone silently looked at me. Suddenly, Mr Lorenzo walked away but not before telling me to come to his office immediately.

I walked into his office feeling shaken up. Why would Ethan put me in this situation? He found out my workplace and now he has Ben in his captivity. Has he changed that much?

"Do you have any idea what mess you've created? How the hell does the worlds most wanted criminal know your name?!"

"Not today. I won't hear it sir. My fiancé is kidnapped and his life is on the line! I'm going to do exactly what this letter tells me to do." I looked at him in anger and disbelief. What kind of a person is he?

"Read that letter right this second." He threatened me in a low growl and I looked at him.

"No. Should I remind that what Ethan Cole said was that I, ALONE, should read this letter. I will get you fired for mishandling the situation and purposely neglecting a life in danger." Suddenly my words shut him up and I walked out of his office.

Slowly I walked a miserable walk to my office and I shut the door and locked it. I took the regular looking envelope and I opened it to see a piece of paper, a letter.

"Dear Gabby.

 Undercover FBI Agent. I thought you were joking when you told me that you wanted to become some sort of officer. But yet again I wonder, did I ever really know you that well? Every single day I asked myself what I had done to you that you disappeared. I felt like an idiot who got played. I just thought I'd give you a view of what I felt back then. I've changed so much ever since then Amore, you'd be so disappointed in me. I turned out somewhat like my father without knowing it. I was actually so glad to see you after 5 long years, even if you're working for the FBI. You owe me an explanation Gabriella. And trust me, I don't want to hurt your apparent fiancé. Just come meet me and we can talk. If you so much as have a little care left for me then meet me at the place we met right after you've read this. I'll leave your fiancé with you as soon as we're done.

I close the letter and placed it down at on my desk. The place we met? Back in high school, we met in school!

I took the letter and my car keys before running out of my office and into the elevator. Valley View High. I arrived there but the school was completely empty, don't school pupils come here?

I parked my car and I slowly stepped out after scanning the place around me. It was totally empty, no even a sigh of a car around.

We met at school but did he mean the exactly spot we met at? I walked into the school remembering it so clearly. It felt like every spot had memories in it and I smile a little at the memories. I made my way towards my locker, where I met Ethan for the first time.

I saw Ethan standing there watching me as I walked closer and a small smile formed on his lips. I don't know how but I felt my arms wrap around him and I started crying immediately as he hugged me tighter for the longest time.

"I'm so sorry. I-I'm sorry!" I let the word come out and he pulled me back and wiped my remaining tears.

"I am too Gabby." I frowned at his words and there was sadness in his eyes but before I could ask what he meant a cloth was put against my mouth and nose and I was held by someone, slowly falling unconscious from what waa on the cloth. My eyes went blurry before I felt numb and fell unconscious.

Ethan's POV

Cash slowly removed the cloth and Gabby was unconsciously in his arms. I scooped her into my arms and carried her feeling somewhat guilty.
