"So Y/N, how's your first day at school?" Grandma ask. "So far, it's good. I got one friend.. He's my seatmate." I smiled.
"That's nice. You can invite your friends for dinner sometimes. It's always something good news to hear that you're doing well in school" Grandma smile and pat my head.
"How about you Joshua? Spending your last year in high school and what's more challenging is you're spending it in a new school and environment" Joshua sigh. "I've got a bunch of friends but they're too friendly and I'm about to passed out when I'm dealing with them"
Grandma laugh. Joshua always got no problem dealing with new people, as he's more to an extrovert. While I'm the opposite, but I call myself ambivert.
"Ting!" a notification pops up from my phone. It's Mingyu. I reply to his text.
"Hey Y/N. What are you doing?" "I'm having my dinner right now,why?" "Ah, just wondering because I'm pretty bored right now."
"Who's that?" Joshua peeked. "Get your face hell off me" I push him away. "Ohhh is that your boyfriend" he smirk. "Boyfriend?" Grandma look at me.
"That's my friend, idiot!" I knock his head. "Meanie.. " he rubs his head.
"Oh so your new friend is a man, Y/N?"
"Yeah" I scratch my neck awkwardly.
"That's fine. Back then, your grandfather was my closest friend too." Grandma smile.
Well, my grandfather passed away because he's robbed by an unknown man. We already report the situation but there's no word about it until now. He's a great person, we all miss him.
I eat the chicken soup and decided to help her washing the dishes. "You're really nice Y/N. I feel really warm just by watching you" the familiar voice soothes in.
I look behind and see the ghost back then. "Can you stop interrupting me.. I'm tired" "Sorry, I just got nowhere to go and I need a place to stay in" "Ghost need shelter too?" "Yes" I sigh.
"Alright but don't ever go inside my room without my permission.
"Alright!" he hug me.
It's weird. The hug feels really warm and sorrow. I can't stop thinking about Mingyu's friend when I see him, Minghao.
