Peter x MJ (an Instagram story)

Hey real quick, sorry recently there have been a lot of DM chapters, i just like the idea of them talking often and since some are more personal chats, we don't want them in the comments of posts :)

Peter and MJ:

Peter: Hey MJ, are you doing ok?

MJ: i'm fine.

Peter: Um well i was just wondering if i could ask you a question?

MJ: sure whatever. whats up?

Peter: Are you sure your ok?

Peter: MJ?

MJ: I said I'm fine, you gonna ask your question or not?

Peter: Uh- you know what I'm fine. Ill talk to you later.

Ned and Peter:

Ned: How'd it go asking MJ out?

Peter: I didn't.

Ned: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDNT??

Ned: YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO!!!

Peter: NED!

Peter: Calm down and let me explain.

Ned: Fine. Why didn't you?

Peter: Well first off i think she's mad at me.

Ned: Why would she be?

Peter: I don't know, but she's giving me the cold shoulder.

Peter: I tried asking her if she was ok but all i got was 'I'm fine' and she just didn't seem like herself.

Peter: I just don't know what to do.

Peter: and it sucks because i really want to ask her but if she's mad at me than theres no point.

Peter: maybe i got my hopes up.

Peter: maybe i just thought that she did like me but it was all in my head.

Ned: peter it most certainly isn't in your head, she likes you.

Ned: Im going to ask betty about this ok?

Peter: Alright, thanks man. ttyl

Ned: cya

Ned and Betty:

Ned: Hey Betty, could i talk to you for a second?

Betty: Sure. Whats going on?

Ned: Is MJ mad at Peter?

Betty: No i don't think so, why would you think that?

Ned: Its just, Peter was trying to ask her something but he said that she was giving him a cold shoulder. 

Ned: I was just wondering if you knew anything about why she may be like that?

Betty: I can ask her if you would like. 

Ned: That would be great if you could. 

Ned: Peter just really wanted to ask her something important and now is having second thoughts.

Betty: Don't worry, i figure it out and if i have to, ill force MJ to talk more to Peter :)

Ned: Your awesome betty, thank you!!

Betty, MJ, and Liz:

Betty: You guys active right now?

Liz: yea whats up?

MJ: I'm here too.

Betty: M, are you mad at Peter?

MJ: idk why?

Betty: because Ned said that Peter told him that you were giving him a cold shoulder.

MJ: Yea well maybe he deserved it.

Liz: Why would he deserve it?

MJ: because i told you about what he said. Why should i help him get a gf if i wanna be his?

Betty: Well if I'm understanding this Peter took that kinda hard.

Liz: Why would him getting a cold shoulder hurt him so much?

Betty: because Ned said that Peter wanted to ask you an important question.

Betty: He was also really excited to.

MJ: Why would he be excited to ask me a stupid question?

Liz: Well you'll never know if you don't let him ask.

MJ: but why should i even let him? 

Liz: So you are mad I'm guessing?

MJ: Hell yeah I'm mad at him. I thought he liked me. Hell Liz you even said he loved me. But if he wanted to ask me out than he would have already. 

Betty: But not if you won't let him!

MJ: So what your saying i should let him ask his question and see where it goes?

Liz: Yes. Thats exactly what were saying.

MJ: fine. but if this goes sideways, i blame you two.

Peter and MJ:

Peter: Hey, sorry about earlier and I'm sorry if your mad at me. I just wanted to ask you something but um its nothing important i guess :(. get back to me if you want.

MJ: No i should be apologizing, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to really snap at you, i was just a bit down is all. 

MJ: So what did you want to ask me?

Peter: Are you sure?

MJ: Yea ofc Parker. 

Peter: Alright fine.

Peter: But if you say no then forget this happened ok? and if you say no don't make fun of me.

MJ: I mean i don't know what this is about but no promises.

Peter: Ugh fine its now or never ig.

Peter: Will you go out with me?
