Bakugou Katsuki was sitting in his parents' car as his mother, Mitsuki, drove him to a building. "Remember, Katsuki, this will help you." She told him as she looked at him with concern. Katsuki scoffed at the worry that his mother held for him.

"Shut up, old hag." Katsuki bitterly spoke and Mitsuki pushed down an angry retort as she softly sighed after she had pulled into a parking lot. "I'll go in by myself." Katsuki said with a warning tone and Mitsuki then giggled at her son. "What?" He demanded.

"Nothing, nothing. You're my firecracker, right?" She asked him and even though Katsuki didn't want to answer the woman, he did just to help her out with her own nervousness.

"Yeah, I'm your fucking firecracker." He spoke as he glanced down at his phone and he sneered at who was texting him. Fucking Deku. He should stop being so damn nosy. I'm fucking fine. He thought to himself.

Bakugou Katsuki was not fine.

The teen had been suffering through nightmares and attacking people as soon as he was waking up from said nightmares.

Worst of all, his quirk was activated automatically because of his fighting instincts and while Katsuki knew that it was a mistake, he still felt guilty for attacking Ponytail. I'm a villain. I hurt her without thinking. Katsuki thought as he became lost in thought over the memory.

He remembered the nightmare he had but he doesn't remember his hand reaching out to grab Ponytail's wrist. He had lit up his quirk and he had grabbed the first person he had seen, which was Ponytail. Yaoyorozu. He thought as he remember her pained whimpers as she tried not to scream because she knew that he was half-awake. She knew that he hadn't meant to hurt her. It was the only reason why she never complained about him because she knew that under all of his harshness and tough guy act, Bakugou Katsuki had a heart.

And it had just been broken after accidentally hurting one of his classmates.

A gentle pat to his head made Katsuki looked up and Mitsuki gasped at the sight of the tears falling down her son's face. "Katsuki." She whispered. Katsuki then noticed that he was crying but he ignored his tears.

"...fucking fine." He growled out as he held out his hand. Mitsuki gave Katsuki his insurance card and his debit card. The only reason why she even had his debit card was because Katsuki knew that he was going to be placing his burning palms in his pockets and he didn't want his card to melt. Releasing a strangled sigh, he glared up at his mother after he had accepted the two cards. "Am I still on the schedule?" He asked, hoping that he could still work today. He did not want to vent about his feelings and be forced to sit at home while thinking about that.

He would much rather work off his irritation afterwards and Mitsuki knew that.

"If that's what you want." She answered and he huffed but she understood that huff to be his own form of thank you.
