Chapter 7

While walking to the cafeteria, across the benches outside the canteen. I saw P'Allan with Padlom having lunch together. I was about to walk to them when someone grabs my hand. I look at that owner of the hand only to see Neo, smiling from ear to ear

"Neo? Why are you here, your break was supposed to be an hour after, your surprisingly early" I said

"Hehehe, the class ended early, and luckily I get to see you" he immediately took his bag, and take out a box. Then he handed it to me "thank you for treating to a korean buffet...in return, I'll give you this"

I took it and opened the box. It looks like jelly with cutely decorated toppings. I looked at him with curiosity.

"That's Leum kum, it's a Thai dessert. I figured you might like it" he said.

I smile and took a piece. While eating it, I was quite surprised by the texture. And it also tastes good.

"Thanks, this the first time I ate this kind of sweets in Thailand" and I wonder "Did you made this" I asked.

"My mother made it, I thought it would be good to cheer you up...And I guess it works, I was able to see you smile" he said, that leaves me wondering

"You didn't need to do that, here have some, it would be a waste if I eat it alone" I said while handling him the box. He took a piece and ate it.

"Nam?" he called while looking at the soccer field

"What"

"It would be nice if you keep smiling in the future" he said, as he faced me with a genuine smile.

"Are you hungry" I asked trying to change the subject, because I'm pretty sure it's going to be awkward after what he said "Let's go together, I saw P'Allan and Nam eating together, Lets join them" After that, we headed to the cafeteria, and went to Padlom

It's already Wednesday, It is still stressful but I can still carry it out, aside from the worksheets that were given to us last Monday. I'm still thinking about how I can contact my brother.

I'm currently watching anime on my phone, the teacher has given as 30 minutes break. That means Padlom and Spoil are currently gossiping. I don't dare to listen, since I don't really give a thing about it.

While still waiting for the anime to play. I overheard the world smiling day.

"Why are you not smiling?" Spoil asked Padlom.

"I'm"Padlom answered.

"Do you have something for Nam" They paused, as I could feel their stares at me. I look at them, with confusion plastered on my face

"No, P'Gent didn't give me one" Padlom said searching something the envelope. Then they look at me with a sad face.

"Guys, I don't really care, and it's fine, now go back to whatever you two were doing" assuring them.

Since the video is still loading, I decided to give up and lay my head on my table and take a nap. After a minute, the teacher came in.

"Now let's finish this discussion, so today we are going to talk about music therapy" I'm pretty sure she's going to give as another task. I was right because now she's currently talking about pairing activity. Great...another task. I should really stop complaining.

As soon as she said dismissed, I was paired in with Spoil and Padlom, since she told as to group into 2 or 3. I'm so lucky I have them, or else I would be troubled about getting paired with people that I'm not well acquainted.
