Revealing the truth is like lighting a match. It can bring light or it can set your world on fire.

She comes to a stop at the side of my bed before reaching out her hand and announcing, "Hello Anna Wetherby, I'm Juliet Gomez, and welcome to the Imperfections."

That happened almost a month ago, the day where my life changed for the better, finally finding a place where I belong. After meeting Juliet, and proving that I'm not a spy, I became apart of this rebellion, this...Revolution. I was welcomed with open arms, finding a place in the techno group of the imperfections, one that dealt with creating technology and weapons for our spies and fighters. I quickly became a leader in this group, with my ideas and blueprints that I had brought with me.

In return for shelter, they asked me to help fight the government and free our world, of course, I agreed. I had some things to ask in return though, one was to help save my sister by choice, Beth, I haven't been able to truly focus on my work nor sleep until I was sure she was safe, so I know that I kept my promise. The other was not just for my needs, but to help the rebellion as well, it was to grab and recapture the blueprints that I had hung across the walls of my room. Most of them, we found out, had been confiscated by the police after I ran, trying to figure out what I was up to, and had already labeled me a Bug and needed to be found. Getting the blueprints back was apparently the easiest part, something to do with spies and friends in the right places...I don't know I just tinker and think.

That's my nickname, by the way, all the workers, especially Terry, has taken to calling me that, Tinker. Oh, Terry was the guy who saved me and who the walkie was for, and yes the one who drugged and kidnapped me too. It's alright though after he explained it would've been the easiest way to get me to base, I forgave him, although I still give him a hard time about it now and then.

And today's finally the day, the day where Beth arrives, and I can be realized from this guilt of not keeping my promise. We're each other's rock, our foundation when the road gets bumpy, and man oh man this road has been a mountain without her being by my side to support me. Standing next to the medics and Juliet, waiting at the entrance to the base, which is practically a sewer drain that was drilled into a doorway, and then filled in by a solid steel door. Yes, the base is in the sewers but it's an old sewer pathway that hasn't been used for decades. It's pretty cool if you really think about it...especially like I have.

"Are you ready Ana?" Juliets voice snaps me out of my thoughtful stupor, she's one of the few that can.

I turn to her, having to look up, and respond, "Ready to see my best friend and sister after a whole month? Hell yeah."She smirks at me, making me get a sense of pride for doing so. Juliet, I have found, is one of those people who is all work and constantly wears a mask of indifference. Only a few rare people, me being one, are allowed to see past her mask.

We turn our attention back to the door when we hear a bang, signaling the lock being removed and the sounds of people talking and climbing down. My heart starts to speed up in anticipation as the door opens and the first people that walk through meet with Juliet as she steps aside. As I walk around the growing mass of people around Juliet, I look to see Terry helping someone through the door, Beth. I faintly see Terry step aside after seeing me, Beth looks at him confused before being pointed in my direction. We lock eyes, both smiling brightly as I surge forward and we collide in a massive hug filled with love and safety.

"Ana!! I missed you so much. One night there were millions of police cars lining the streets, starting from your house and I just knew you were in trouble. I was so worried about you!" Beth rambles in my ear.
