Chapter 5

Aaliyah
"BAAM BAAM ,"my stupid phone rings
I roll out of bed and check the time 6.06 I slept six more minutes

I sigh and drag myself to the bathroom I brush my teeth and hop in the shower I scrub with my delicious body wash and shave my legs and armpits , I get out and wear my brown skirt with my white blouse and my black heels

I pair it with my chain that says my name a pandora bracelet and my promise ring that was given to  me by my favorite cousin 

I do my hair and eat the leftovers from yesterday hopefully I can start my job soon so I can get some food , then i hear a knock I tiptoe and see Shawn

I open and give him a big hug

"Let's go let's go I'm so exited," I say jumping up and down

"Ok slow down let's get going ," he says laughing

We get to the coffee shop and it's so nice and simple very comfortable i guess they close today since nobody's here and it's only someone cleaning up

"WILLIAM SHES HERE ," Shawn calls
A mid 40s man comes out with a huge grin and gets my hand and shakes it

"U must be Aaliyah," he says

"Yes sir and u must be William ," I say smiling

He nods and smiles and proceeds to take me to a table

"So Aaliyah are u a student if so have u ever had any job experience," he ask , lucky for me I used to be a maid when I was 16

"Yes I was a maid for two years at my dads friends house ," I say

"Mhm good good

"You know what Aaliyah after these past 30 minutes I think you're very Good for this job your vibrant personality and bubbly self ," William says

I blush at the compliment nobody has ever said something like that to me

"Thank u really ," I say

"So can u start now ," he says giving me a wide smile

"OMG YES YES ," I get up and give him a huge hug

He laughs and hugs me tighter , "she's a hugger ," Shawn says

I blush and they take me to the back to change my clothes into these brown pants and a white shirt with there coffee logo in the front

"Thank u William so so much ," I say

"No need ," he says before he goes to his office
I look at Shawn and give him another hug

"I'll pick u up after your shift ends okay ," he says while rubbing circles around my cheeks

"Ok ," I say , he leaves and I start to work

1hour until my shift ends and I'm fucking loving it everyone's so nice and there loving my jokes

I start thinking about David and the prank call yesterday I really want to see him again he's really funny and nice even though he pissed me off but it's okay

And when he called me a slut I liked it .. a lot
I bit my lip thinking about it

"HELOO ARE U FUCKING DEAF," a man says

Oh no I recognize that voice

I look up and see David , what is he doing here , well maybe getting some fucking coffe now get his order u dummy

"OH SHIT hiii omg how have I been can u believe I got a job here ," I say cheerily

He scoffs and rolls his eyes

"Shut the fuck up and get my order ," he says
I laugh really loud I swear he's sooo funny

"Your so funny David. ,anyway what would u like ," I say

"Black coffee,"he blankly says

I pout ,"only black coffee u don't want atleast a muffin or a cookie," I say

"NO U DUMB FUCK I ONLY WANT COFFEE NOW GO ," he whisper yells

I start to get angry I thought he was nicer than this

"Your very rude right now mister I thought u were nice ," I say crossing my arms

He starts laughing really loud ,oh yay I've made him laugh

"NICE oh shi I'm nowhere near the word nice u know what I do and that I can kill u in any seconds ,"he spat out

"Well why haven't I killed Me yet hm.," I sat tilting my head

"Get my fucking order before I do kill u ,"he says

I scram to go make his order , I guess he's not goin to talk about the prank call I finish his order and decide to add a bit of vanilla flavoring

"Here u go mister not so nice David ," I say giggling

"Shut the fuck up im not your buddy so
Stop making nicknames for me and next time u want to prank call me have the mindset that I can find every number even if it's no caller I'd ," he says before he leaves 

I huff what is his problem so what I prank called him it was just a joke , I feel my eyes start to water I've always hated when people yelled at me and cried every time they did but it's ok because I can see right through David deep down he's a good person and I won't stop bugging him until I see that side of him
