Lucy-
Once I got to the school I was trying my best to stay the same but everything was different and I didn't like it. All the kids were rich and all of them were always talking about their vacations and how awesome they were.
"Hey Lucy I'm Juvia, welcome to your new school" a blue haired girl said smiling at me.
"Nice to meet you," I said in a monotone voice.
"If there's anything I can help you with let me know," She nodded and walked to her friends.
I stood in the middle of the cafeteria not sure what I should do, usually I'd chat with Levy or Natsu would be in my face trying to cheer me up.
I looked up my schedule and went to my first class which of course had Leo in it.
"Hey" he said sitting next to me.
"Hi" I glanced over at him.
"You don't look very happy," Leo smiled.
"Really? Man what an observation you have made, what gave you that impression?" I snapped.
"I'm sorry I was just trying to make small talk." He responded.
"Maybe I don't want to talk" I said rubbing my thumb through the pages of the book I was going to read.
"Sorry I was just trying to cheer you up," he shrugged.
"I'm sorry but there's only one person who can cheer me up and right now we aren't exactly close or in a good place" I said.
"Oh, sorry" he said.
"It's fine, I'd rather be alone right now" I said opening my book up hoping he would back off.
"Hey Leo who's this?" A girl with brown hair asked.
"This is Lucy, Lucy, meet Evergreen, she's an upperclassman"
I looked up from my book to acknowledge her and then looked back into my book.
"Not very talkative are you?" She said with a little laugh
"Nope." I responded.
"Why?"
"I was thinking the same exact thing " I replied.
"I'm confused, what do you mean?"
"Why are you bothering me? I don't really want friends, I don't want to talk and I want my space"
"Wow I was just being friendly, I'll leave you alone then." She muttered
